So basically just descendants cause Maxie and Archie's ancestors already exist, they are the founders of the diamond clan and pearl clan

What I'm going to predict (and this is probably expected) is that Diantha's Ancestor is going to pull a Volo; being the villain. I'm going to even predict her Ancestor will be a Male named Dionis. His team may even use a Mega Gallade. Similar to how Volo used Arcanine which was a parallel to Cynthia's Milotic.

I tried naming characters from all the games; however, I expect we'll have another run in with Volo, the villain from the last game; this time working with Diantha's Ancestor. In LA we had tons for Sinnoh, but, also Ancestors for characters like Wulfric, Agatha, Karen, Wally & Hop/ Leon.
As for this game's Faller, I'm going to say it's going be Ardos, Eldes, Lovrina or Ace Dome Tucker.
I think a likely character we'll see ancestor for is FANTINA. Like COME ON! Fantina had to be a Gym Leader in Kalos before moving to Sinnoh! You find a Gengarite in the same town as the Fairy Gym; Fantina speaks FRENCH for crying out loud! She's gotta have heritage from Kalos! Plus, we seem to have a pattern where *Battle Facility Bosses* have found themselves in a new region. Anabel in Sun & Moon, then it was Ingo in Legends Arceus. So if Ardos & Eldes or Lovrina have Ancestors, then it comes to reason that Ace Dome Tucker may end up in Kalos. He looks like Fantina for crying out loud!

I'm looking forward to playing the new Legends Z-A game when they release it to the world! It will be a fun and memorable time! The ancestors/ characters i am looking forward to seeing are: the ancestors of the gym leaders of Kalos, the ancestors of the elite 4 and champion's ancestor, plus all of the npc's along the way. It will be interesting to see how the region looked back then, to how it looks in the future/ present. I'm looking forward to exploring the region and discovering all of the secrets and solving the mysteries of Kalos and neighboring regions, based on who is taking residence at Kalos at that point in time. It will be a fun time! Good times! 😁✌️

I overall like your ideas!
I think I like the idea with the Spikemuth Siblings' ancestor the most as an opposition to Megas could open interesting story possibilities but I think a parallelof them embracing Megas could also be interesting. I think a Hau ancestor would also be pretty cool, but even if its just wishful thinking on my end, I'd like to see a Hau ancestor be the protag of a Legends Alola.
The one bit I'd disagree on is Sycamore's entire family or ancestor studying Megas but part of that is just I'd like to see the ancestor characters be their own people.
Since Megaevolution is painful for a lot of Pokemon it would be nice to have a similar conflict like N's with battles and catching them but with one N's ancestor, a plot full of is it okay to Megaevolve?
Of topic questions:
If pokemon turns Journey's/master 8 ( in game masters 10 cause all 9 gens + the newest gen the story take plays in) into a game,
How would it look like according to you?
My personal reasoning for assuming that Legands Z-A will take place in the future is that the trailer is talking about an Urban redevelopment plan to make the city more Pokémon friendly and the circular plazas appear to have more than just the obelisks in them in the map of the city they show. I think it's fair to say that the Lumiose City we saw in XY was not exactly Pokémon friendly aside from the more tame, "pet" type Pokémon like Pikachu and Furfrou that average people who aren't active trainers would have.
My assumption for the general plot of the game is that we will be making the city more Pokémon friendly by adding natural or green spaces like parks and ponds to the city, probably starting or ending with the plazas. Since the whole game supposedly takes place in Lumiose City, I'm guessing that adding these green spaces will allow us to encounter new species of Pokémon the same way that unlocking then new areas in Legends Arceus gave us access to new species.
As for the theory of switching between the past and future, I don't really get why people want/think that. I just think that has the risk of getting too complicated and confusing if it isn't handled very carefully.
“Urban redevelopment” could also mean “an already urban area, is getting redeveloped”
People kinda forget, that you can “redevelop” a village, into a city...
@ginpachi1 Aside from using the words to define the words, that is the exact definition of urban redevelopment: revitalizing existing parts of an existing urban area.
I feel like going from a village to a city would be more of an expansion rather than just redevelopment.
