Oh Wow. Anglo Indian cooking to the T. All the words like dekshi, bagaro, etc. etc. is just the way we speak while cooking. Music to my ears. The way you cook is exactly how my grandmother, mother did and I do now. All the cookbooks, videos etc. don’t touch this one. So orginal. Going to share with my daughter who wants Mum’s style of cooking. It saves me writing it all down now, Love it. The way you speak, dress and present is impeccable. Thank you. ❤️🤗💕🇦🇺🙏🏼
I could Not agree More with your Comments.. Anglo Indian cooking at it's Best...you will not find any of these dishes in Any restaurant in the UK....Thank you Pearl👍
I love your videos, Pearl. They remind me so much of my childhood and the Anglo Indian culture in which I grew up in the city of Calcutta. Thank you for your delicious recipes. God bless you and yours.❤❤
Just the right and practical fine recipes and cooking... No exotic, unpronouncible and unavailable ingredients.... This is the best cooking way so far I've seen on the Tube. Hats off Pearl...🎉❤
Reminded me of home I could literally taste and smell the food started to feel hungry... I'm married to Punjabi so I miss this food culture .Now I'm going to make this tomorrow ie 7th Sep 2024..Happy cooking to me ....Thanks Pearl.

Hi Pearl I enjoy watching your recipes. I'm also Anglo Indian, Christopher, I used to go to boarding school at Saint Thomas Calcutta. I live in Long Island New York. Which part of India did you migrate from? You do an amazing job,all the best for the New Year.
Hi Mary, I soak the green coriander in a pot of water for 2 minutes to let all the grit get to the bottom then I drain it in a colander and I spread it on a clean tea towel and I only remove the very large stalk , and then let the tea towel soak up all the excess water then I cut it and put it in a plastic bag, it last for months in the freezer, just use fistfuls every time you need it 👌🏻👍🏻❤️
Hello Freckleface, yes I do o make so many different ways of Dal, here is one with meat so if you make it without meat then also you can temper it with curry leaves . ruclips.net/video/9dZEWUICqOY/видео.html
