- Joey is excited that Chandler is helping him get an audition for a movie by Chandler’s ex-girlfriend. Monica is not so thrilled. Since Chandler hasn’t seen or spoken to her in 10 years, he decides to grab some coffee with her. Chandler rethinks asking her for a favor when he learns she was contacted by another schoolmate she hasn’t seen in 10 years who wants to be an editor for her film. Monica shows Phoebe and Rachel the guest room one of them can stay in. Phoebe feels guilty for starting the fire and offers Rachel stay in the nice guest room while Phoebe stays at Joey’s apartment.

They kind of insinuated that Joey had a crush on Monica thru out the series - I felt like that was a nod to Joey and Monica having been the planned "It Couple" of the series rather than Ross and Rachel.

@@happyme3930 oh yeah. Rachel also did not know where the broom was. Rachel also did not help wash the dishes.
There were other things. Rachel would write nice notes to Monica and would stick them in the bathroom mirror. When Monica fell asleep in the couch, Rachel would put a blanket on her. When Rachel browses through catalog and sees something Monica likes, she marked them. Rachel did a lot of thoughtful things. Monica also liked living with Rachel. This is a contrast from when Phoebe and Monica were roommates, and Phoebe could not stand living with Monica.
Rachel was the only one they all liked having as a roommate: Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Ross... Phoebe liked living with Rachel so much that she was worried Rachel would live with Joey and not her. Joey and Rachel were great roommates. (This is different from when Ross lived with Chandler and Joey. His irritating habits were insufferable and they wanted him gone.)
Doesn't monica actually not really ALLOW anyone to clean or help her clean cuz she is such a control and clean freak that whatever someone else does to clean it is never good enough for her? She only used the not knowing where the broom thing is on rachel when they were trying to decide who got the last condom. She did not actually care about that, ever.

Monica was such a hypocrite in this scene. She went out with Richard for dinner what makes it bad is considering the fact that she had a relationship with him before they ended it due to him not wanting to have kids as Richard still have feelings for Monica as soon as Chandler meets up with a ex-girlfriend as he went out with her one time just to help Joey she gets upset like what I'm confused? 😕
Did Monica dwell on the issue? No. Did she imposed on Chandler that he couldn’t see his ex? No. It wasn’t serious, notneed to make such a big deal out of it.

A lot of people say watching Friends is very beneficial to proving your English. So I'm gonna give it a try.

@@shahd986 nobody needs the grammar rules, you don't even know all the grammar rules of your own native language, why would you need the ones of an another language? if you learn the casual speaking, rest just comes. just like how we learn our native tongue as a baby. friends is extremely beneficial on that in my experience.
