This engines also makes sukhoi 30mki one of the fastest active fighters( 2120km/hr) in Iaf and in world with a thrust to weight ratio over 1.4 empty weight and around 0.9 fully loaded. Su 30 mki is one of the most maneuverable fighters of all time.
I always recommend to go for super updated SU 30 war plane jets, that are battle tested, experienced. India can have MORE squadrons of super SU 30 to counter our rivals . Better deal done.

At least seek the assistance of Russian oems collaboration to upgrade and integrate al-31fp engines with some elements of al-41 engines like fadec control, more fuel efficiency etc.

Compare it with heavy category f100 engine used in f15 which has MBTO of same 1000 hours and service life of 3200 hours only. But f100 was unreliable with frequent failure leading to f15 crash and now has been replaced by f110 which has service life of 4000 hours. Meanwhile al41 also has service life of 4000 hours and fully FADEC technology. And al31 has zero failure in 20 years of service and is highly reliable. None of the su30mki crash has been because of al31 failure unlike the case when most f15e crash were due to f100 failure. The admin must have factual knowledge.

Bro the existence of Gen 5 aircraft doesn't make the previous gen aircraft absolute. The 4th ++ gen aircraft are still equally relevant and will be for atleast 2 an half decade. And regarding 6th gen, we are atleast 5 to 10 years far from seeing an actual 6th gen aircraft
