Ketron is the best on the market!!!

It’s certainly a treat to hear something different to Tyros and Genos. If that flugelhorn is anything to go by Yamaha need to be worried. The one touch settings on Tyros 5 are very poor for anyone having to rely on them. And, as highlighted, Genos strings are over hyped.

Leigh, I love your performances even though they are short and so relaxing. Wish I had a repertoire like yours but I only play by ear. I do love the strings here as you say they are way over the top of Yamaha Genos2 I have seen that today The demo. I have always used Yamaha for the fact I understand how it works. I have currently a tyros 3 and play it nearly daily. still finding interesting things in it. However when I see this keyboard I really wonder how much of a learning curve I would have to endure inorder to have it sound like this. You are amazing my friend.

Hi Leigh, I've 'endured' both long reviews. Very informative, but I missed one annoyance you had in the first video. You demonstrated that every percussion in styles sounded like in another room with the door closed. I have not heared you mention it in this video. Is it better with the update, is it an overall setting you can change now?

Hi Leigh, I've seen a video of you doing the KETRON EVENT Pro1 Package Review. By the way, great review!
But I'm very curious if you would also buy the Ketron Event yourself in combination with the pro pack 1 from Ajamsonic ? There is already a pro pack 2 available for the ketron event. I've heard the Genos 2 too and it's great too, but I find the sounds of the ketron event much more authentic.
I hear a lot of styles in the Genos 2 that were also in previous series like the Tyros. It all sounds much better now on the genos 2 that's just a fact. But still... I just like the feeling of ''live instruments'' that the Ketron Event gives me when I hear it. The strings of the ketron are many times nicer than those of the Genos 2.
But not to make the story even longer, would you buy the Ketron Event + Pro pack 1 yourself? The previous reviews of yours about the ketron Event make me doubt, hence the question. Thanks in advance! Greetings Ben.

Hello Ben, Ketron have launched a v3 of their software which ive yet to review and test. Ajay does want me to take a look his new pack V2 - which I hope to do in the next few weeks.
Would I buy a Ketron... If they have fixed the bugs that I reported in the first review, then I would consider it. I hope to have a review of the new V3 Ketron soon, please subscribe to the Chanel and you will get notifications when I post the next review of The Event. If theres a keyboard I'd love to see perfected, it's the Event - Needs less compression on style parts etc.. Let's see what comes with the update.

@@LeighWilbraham Hello Leigh, thanks for your quick response!
I just checked the Ketron website for the list of problems they fixed with the V3 Update. I have to admit that I was shocked by the large number of problems that were there, I knew there were problems but not that there were so many.
You almost start to think that Ketron released the keyboard too early to be ahead of their competitors Yamaha and Korg.
But luckily they do fix the problems quickly, unlike Korg who are unfortunately not so quick with it.
I myself still have the Korg PA4X Musikant 76, but I misjudged the technology a bit, which I find quite complicated.
I have always had Yamaha Keyboards before that were always easy to use, but that is now disappointing with this Korg PA4X.
Anyway, I have subscribed to your channel and will keep an eye on your channel. Keep up the good work with all your videos because you are doing a lot of people a great favor with it. It's fun to see how much you enjoy yourself while making all your videos.👍😀

Actually I was thinking just like you. I had a very rare opportunity to play the top 3 by renting a Ketron Event, Yamaha Genos 2, and Korg Pa5x each for one month. I went in thinking like you. After using each for a month, I came away with a Korg Pa5x. I was simply blown away by the styles and abilities it has over the other two. Honestly, the Pa5X is a deeper keyboard. In terms of sounds, they all sound good. Some sound better on the Event, some better on the Genos2 and some better on the Korg Pa5x. The difference for me was the depth of the keyboards (all were good) and the styles which both were better in a noticeable way on the Pa5x.
