When Governor Phil Bredesen and First Lady Andrea Conte took office in 2003, the Governor's mansion was in need of major repairs so instead of moving in, they took on the challenge of renovating and restoring the old home. In the process, tours of the historic site were put on hold. But Tennessee Crossroads visited with the First Lady to see the finished project which will allow for even more visitors.
