Running trains using 16, 891 and 1435 mm tracks as well as 5" and 7 1/4" I ask why You didn't go for a real rail profile? The entire modell railroad business have developed their well working systems as well as "the big railroad". Making standard curve sections as well as straight ones would not be much more difficult. They would do well on a permanent railroad and would not be much slower to build for a short time railroad. A few screws/nuts more....
Sorry but that square profile looks ugly to me.
