    Who the hell spends 5grand monthly on games as a teen and doesn’t get killed by their parents?! Not to mention, why the hell didn’t mom take away the phone or cancel her service? If she refused to stop make her get the service in her name and pay for it herself. I bet she’d stop real quick.

      Before unlimited plans, my daughter wanted a cell phone, but knowing how much she talked on the landline, I told her No. I was not getting surprised monthly by my bill. My best friend’s mom put her on her plan, and my daughter had to pay her own bill. My daughter ended up being very responsible with paying her portion of the bill, and very rarely went over. My daughter turned out to be a very wonderful adult, and a great mother of her 2 children, and a wonderful wife to my SIL.

    I was raised without a father, but my Mom worked hard to give me everything I needed and wanted and all she asked for in return was that I work hard to become a successful woman in the future so she won't have to worry about me. Misty should be grateful her mother raised her all her life without the help of her father, not just because she was legally obligated to but also because she loved her.

    My mom made me pay board when I started working and I'm going to make my kid do the same- working at my silly little parttime job was so much fun!! And this story- ohmygod, Misty is a piece of work!! I was poor- relatively compared to my friends- but that didn't make me hate my mother!! It made me admire her for working so hard!! We're not close but I respect her and wouldn't DREAM of saying ANYTHING like that. And ffs Misty, if you're old enough to get married then you're old enough to live independently, if you're bold enough to say that shite to your MOTHER then you should be bold enough to grow the fcuk up. And oh yeah- not meeting the parents, the parents not meeting/talking to each other until the ACTUAL wedding, that's kinda weird

    She raised Misty as a single parent but somewhere along the way, she drifted apart from her mom.
    Probably confronting her husband for not paying child support in the presence of High Schooler Misty would probably helped quell her resentment towards her mother for dovorcing her dad. But the fact is that children can be money-minded and ungrateful in today's world.

    ANOTHER "cute" daughter??? Okay, please listen: cuteness disappears in the early 20s, and looks alone cannot guarantee a life that matches your expectations! Looking good is all very nice, and it helps a lot in high school, but when that part of life is finished, it only makes sense to focus on other attributes. But since when does a "cute" girl pay attention to what comes next in life? Cute is good for kittens and puppies and babies, but if you make it your main focus for your entire adult life, things will not go well in the years to come. Food for thought: how many women over the age of 25 make "cute" their biggest claim?

    • @dragonfliesnh4204
      @dragonfliesnh4204 8 месяцев назад +1

      These stories are written in Japan and the word "cute" has a different meaning than in English. Technically the word for cute in Japan is "kawaii". It's not defined in the way you are familiar with as it goes deeper or further than the definition of the English word "cute".
      Merriam Webster defines it as: "In Japanese, the word kawaii has a meaning that sits more or less at the juncture of "cute," "tiny," or "lovable.".
      Oxford Dictionary defines kawaii as "appealing in an endearing way; cute."

      These stories are written in a non-English speaking country and translated to English. The cultures and laws greatly varies by country to country. Most of these stories don't even say where it takes place. Just because it's in English, it doesn't mean it takes place in the US. There are other countries where people speak English too!

      @@njambs-tm5pt It's a huge pet peeve of mine that many Americans on here thinks things are the same in all countries and don't acknowledge that the laws and cultures greatly varies around the world. Also, these stories don't usually takes place in any English speaking country and are just translated to English. Many of these people also think most people on RUclips are from the US which is totally the opposite....
