I am watching this for the second time. And if only I could be there physically. As we realised the further we have been pushed away physically from the warm embrace of Our Lord in his Temple, the deeper is our love and attachment for HIM😢. Thank you Sensus Fidelium🙏 for this priceless gift.
I just got home from witnessing this exact rite by ICKP this Good Friday and glad I found this video. I had to witness it again and follow along with liturgy - simply breathtaking and the depth of emotion I felt was overwhelming. Thank you
It's a beautiful, reverent mass to honor God & Christ. I wish the Pope would just return everything back to the original before 1950's, it's more authentic, isn't it?
In terms of liturgical rubrics, sure. But we had a liturgical problem well before the 1950’s. If we simply made everything the way it was before, we’d set ourselves up for disaster again
It is a little obnoxious, yes. It helps everyone kneel or genuflect at the same time, and that makes it looks better. He also does is so that the alter servers and ministers know when to genuflect, just in case they are confused. But I have to admit, he does do it sometimes when its unneeded, but he doesn't always know when it is needed. I will tell him that someone found it annoying before I serve with him tonight for the Easter vigil.

59:07 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Kudos to the Priest for his courage (if you know, you know)!
So beautiful. So thankful for wonderfully reverent priests. Wish we could have been there, it's breaking all of our hearts to not be.
1:02:53 What Christian on the planet can see that and not get at least close to weeping in sheer awe?
True pre'55 Missa Praesanctificatorum! 'Oremus et pro perfidiis Iudaeis' I hear it clearly. Bravo! Many blessings from our Lord and Holy Mother Mary!
Beautiful. And nicely done, musicians! 🎶
That was an amazing rendition of Vexilla Regis. I replayed that portion over and over again.
Is that the part around 1:31:00 ?
@@valethemajor It starts at 1:18:51. Listen to it. Its superb. The lady in the choir has an angelic voice.

Looks like 4 demons did thumbs down, how sad... they're missing out. ;-D
Is it still called a mass even though there’s no Consecration?
I thiiiink that's why they refer to it as Mass of the Pre-Sanctified because the hosts are pre-sanctified from the previous day(s).
Vale the Major - That makes sense.
The MC clapping every time they are to kneel or genuflect is obnoxious.
