I ABSOLUTELY love love love your videos, and the resources on your website! You have helped my family and I so much with our homeschooling. I'm currently homeschooling 5 of my children ages 5 years up to 17. I would love to see how you implement some of your resources throughout your homeschooling day...to see how you use them, integrate them with each other, or even how you plan using them (if that makes sense). Thank you so much for all you do.
Extremely informative!! TY so much for taking the time to be here in this space and share all of your amazing goldern nuggets that personally I never would have thought of.. Literally could not TY enough.. 🤗💕
I just got my husband on board for homeschooling yay🎉! But he is worried I won't succeed and in my opinion I think we'll love it and soar but he wants to put them back in for middle school. My problem is if I let them free learn I'm worried that what we do won't be enough to pass standardized testing to go back,,,
We love family style learning and use it for the majority of our subjects. So, how do you incorporate spelling? We've also just introduced it organically through copy work and reading; however, I have one child who really struggles in this area. Any tips?
In my morning work binder video, I show the word of the day pages that we use. We use those for specific word practice too. There’s also a book that I mention in that video called the b on the thumb that’s great for talking about spelling rules. And lots of word games! I have this blog post that has some more ideas: siloandsage.com/2022/10/19/fun-spelling-and-vocabulary-activities/
New sub here! This was great. Thanks for sharing. We have 5 kids as well and end up doing a lot of school together. I also have a channel mainly about homeschooling and would love to be friends and connect here!
