That’s a fun fact but I’m very confused as to how that affects this year’s game.
They’ve only played 4 times and Tennessee had a new and trash HC in 2014/15

I get being a Sooners homer on this, but saying Iowa didn’t have a good run D last year is just silly. They gave up 4 rushing TDs through their first 13 games and then Nico ran for 3 himself in the bowl game.

Stat...since 1999, OU has lost only 11 home games. They have a 921 winning percentage. Best of all D1 schools. I think they will be ready.
Aaand, that number is outrageously skewed by the fact that OU doesn’t play their main rival at home, but at a neutral site.
That fact alone makes this winning percentage completely misleading.
Texas has 9 wins against OU from 1999-now; if this was a home and away like most schools instead of a neutral site, you’d have to add about 5 more home losses (roughly half of Texas’ wins against you) to that number, which would pump it from 11 up to 16 home losses. Big difference.
Be prepared to be shocked.

I think you’re a little confused on Nico’s interceptions my friend. He should’ve never thrown the ball to Bru McCoy but the other int was a play where his arm was hit while he was throwing and it sailed straight up into the air

You guys are so hopeful that TN defense isnt as ELITE as it has seemed so far. However stop an consider this, Our DL is 14 deep with very little drop off, due to that our 1st string has played only an overage of 50 snaps through 3 games, so the stats are a bit lacking. But WHO was those rushing offense you played prior to us? What was they ranked at rushing?
Sooo...TN won't be any more effective on D line than Houston and Tulane, basically, according to Jay. If Tulane and Houston got pressure, TN will live in the OU backfield. I do wish they could have played this game later in the year when OU has time to get guys healthy.

@jeromestevens are you actually saying UT’s defensive line can’t tackle? Everyone is looking at UT’s low number of sacks but have any of yall looked at tfl’s which are very similar to a sack. A tackle behind the line of scrimmage is a loss of yards period I could personally care less if it’s a qb, rb, or wr that’s got the ball in their hand. I like it to be a close first half but I have UT 34-17 but that’s just my humble opinion
