Hi I've a question. I ordered for a website to do online marketing, so I sent the API payment links for my PayPal personal account .And the person building my website is already done with the payment gateway. So I decided to upgrade that same personal account to business account. My fear is, will the payment link be altered or faulty since I've upgraded my PayPal personal account to Business?

If you use the personal account but you start selling too much, PayPal will review your account and try to get you to sign up for the business account (They usually win this fight). Either way, once you do over about $20,000/yr sales in personal or business account they'll report it to the IRS. If you don't have a business name you can use your own name and be a sole proprietor.

Hello, thank you for this info. I have been automatically given a business account by paypal (long story). Anyhow, I want to use paypal to receive weekly payments from a company but I will be self-employed. My question is are there any fees firstly for the money going into Paypal and secondly if I transer it to my bank. My friend already works for the same company and has a personal account and has not seen any charges for either, but I wondered if on a business account there would be fees?
