I watched this video and had no intention on crying. I tried several times to hold back my tears but in the end the emotion was not able to be contained. This song is beautiful and shares such a strong message. Just like Gary V. to produce a heartfelt and honest piece. Please enjoy this Morissette Amon reaction. I have not seen her in awhile. Whoever watch & listens to this song will surely give you tears.. its something that makes us all realise that there's still someone above all of us who is always with us wherever we are & whatever we do. And, those tears is somehow a reflection of guilt because the world is too busy to hear.
Why guilt? For me it was an appreciation for the love that we have...the appreciation of knowing the mercy that was shown to all of us and not anyone single person. A sadness that some people still don't know that the do not have to be perfect for him to be what they need him to be. For me, my tears went far beyond guilt.

When they should record this one Gary Valenciano told Morissette "everyone knows you can sing, this time i want you to sing with your heart and soul". Needless to say that's what she did and this "performance" moves everyone regardless if you're Christian or not.
The song was already crushing my heart deep inside and I was trying desperately to hold back my tears, but when you started giving your reaction after the performance, I lost it. Involuntary tears, man. Whew! C'mon Mori. I needed this... I needed this.

The problem with society, especially in the social media, is that everyone is shouting over everyone else, trying to be heard, but no one is really listening. God is trying to speak, but his voice gets drowned out by selfish opinions, thinking they are in the right, when in truth, everyone is wrong. Even in prayer, we tend to talk and talk and talk. Prayers should be more on listening. Turn off the volume control of the world around you and find God's voice. His words are often not what we want, but always what we need to hear. Even in politics, if God takes center stage, the governments can do no wrong. But if Merry Christmas becomes Happy holidays just to be politically right, it is definitely not coming from the Messiah. For every fork on the road, there is only one correct direction to take. Follow His lead and life becomes easy.

Although this is a religious song, it is not a song of worship. She is simply talking to God and asking if He can or will help with her struggles. She is portraying someone who does not yet know God but is questioning if He can deliver her and provide her needs. You cannot worship God until you know Him and have received Him into your life. Worship involves exalting God and acknowledging who He is. Her other song "Man of Sorrows" is definitely a worship song.

I’m 6’ 3” & 211 pounds & this had me blubbering like a baby, but after the day I had at work, it was a great “release” for me. When my lovely “lady officer” got home, she saw I was upset about something & I played her your video & it got her as well 😭😭😭. We held each other for several minutes & also our dog (her work partner) did his best to cheer us up.... God bless him ❤️🐶❤️
