My 3rd or 4th wedding I did the bridesmaid set her dress on fire with a smoke bomb.
I had a recent wedding a few weeks ago where the FOB was giving a toast and looks at his daughter and says “your mother and I had a great time making you”. Then out of nowhere the grandpa yells out from his table and yells “your mother and I had a good time making you too son”. I had no words and I’m sure my jaw hit the floor.
I have so many crazy stories from the last 3 years of being a wedding photographer. People are nuts.
And Not my monkeys not my circus is what goes through my head everyday at work.

New fave saying
I had a bride who wanted everyone to wear white, even the vendors. She wore a pink dress.
I don’t think I would’ve been able to handle that situation as well as that photographer did for the crazy groom’s sister. Esp when she spit on her bag 🙄
OMG.. The Halloween Mini one gave me PTSD lol .. I was doing a Halloween session once for a group of girls and I couldn't get one of the smoke bombs to light so I was fixing the fuse and forgot to turn it away from my hand and lit it and the sparks flew at my hand. I was in the middle of the session so played it off but was low key crying inside from pain. After the session was over I looked at my hand and it was charred and had to go to the ER to get it cleaned and checked. I got 2nd degree burns on my thumb and it took 2 weeks to heal so I had to shoot a wedding the next week with a big bandage on my thumb lol
I will only use overlays for now on! lol
The one about the sister saying bad things to the photographer I honestly would have left. It is in my contract that if the guests or even the couple are rude I can leave and they will not have any refund at all. Just the photos I took before the issue lol.
Someone please tell me how to send in stories. I have a few that will BLOW their mind! 😂😂😂
