They were fantastic. Shakira incorporated salsa, Rock, Pop, Arab dance, the champeta that is very traditional in her native Barranquilla, on the Caribbean coast. Due to the fact that I'm colombian, specifically from Barranquilla. I was living for each Shakira's participation. I have to say that the Champeta here in my region was tagged for people from poor areas, that perception was changing through the years and nowadays is a rithym that identify all the people from the colombian caribbean coast. And this contributions from @Shakira , dancing champeta in the Super Bowl, is just unbelievable. She made me cry, just for thinking in all those musician from Cartagena and Barranquilla that were fighting for so long to have a spot in the music industry and after the show the world! was dancing champeta. I'm so proud of Shakira, my culture and my people.
Shakira was also dancing Mapale which is a African rithym that we inherit and is a popular dance during the Barranquilla's Carnival. Shakira was playing the guitar the drums, dancing with a cord, doing the belly dance, dancing salsa, singing pop, rock, regueton, each single song was a different rhythm and her voice was just fenomenal.
And then Jlo, OMG, what a Show!, so inspiring show, She really understands the importance on saying: we are from the bronx, NY.; Born in the USA, and also wearing that double flag!. Jlo has such a good repertoire, each song was a joy!, my favorite one: all!. Let's get loud is one of my favorite songs ever!.

If you are a Shakira fan, you loved her performance. It's even ok to love BOTH (oh the horror of it!).
