Beautiful tour, Matt. I hope you didn't sunburn your arms. The architecture and history bits are so fascinating and that custard tart looked delicious. I have a Portuguese colleague working with me and she says that they taste nice from the ones we have here.
Thanks Olga, thankfully I managed to avoid any sunburn but you've really got to watch it out there - there's some power in the sun even when there's a cool breeze a blowing! Funny things about those custard tarts is that was the first one I ever tried. About a week ago I had my second ever one from Tesco bakery and it wasn't bad. Not as good as the real thing of course but after a few minutes in the oven I was quite impressed!
Yeah I recommend 4-5 mins in the oven. Although I can't remember what temperature I had it on or how much I pre-heated it for so not all that helpful haha.
