I have been to Dubai 3 months ago and took the metro several times a day. I felt like I am learning a little bit of Arabic because I heard these announcments constantly 😃 Miss Dubai very much! One of the best metros I've ever used.

I took the metro everyday when I was in Dubai and this announcements just stick to me as a good memory of this amazing time.

I left Dubai and I haven’t visited that place for almost a year now. I miss those sounds that play when I went to Deira City Centre.

The metro has changed alot in 3 years as 8 of the 29 announcements do not exist anymore and there are more stations then this some examples of this are :
Noor bank is now Al Safa First golf bank is now Um Al Shief DAMAC properties is now Sobha realty Sharaf DG is now Mashreq Jumeirah Lake towers Station is now DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) Nakheel is now Al Khail Nakheel Harbour And Tower is now Jabal Ali.
They also replaced the airplane-like alarm to something else
2023 : Al Safa is now Onpassive , Um Al Shief is now Equiti , Diera City Centre is now City Centre Diera , Al Jafiliya is now Max.
Im missing this so damn much! I miss dubai dammit! I cant wait to come back

I was living in Oman and my family used to come to Dubai during the weekends. I remember taking the metros to go to the malls. This brings back memories of those days...

omg when i was like 6-9 i always travel around dubai train for fun with my grandma they always say when i was 5 months old i traveled to dubai with a plan and dubai train is some of my most fond memories of dubai since covid started ii wasn't been able to go to to dubai man I'm almost 13 now god i miss dubai

Outdated. #11 is Centrepoint, #16 is City Centre Deira (the ACTUAL name of that mall), #21 is Max, #29 is ONPASSIVE, #31 is equiti, #33, 35, 36 ,37 and 38 are mashreq, Al Khail, Sobha Realty, DMCC and Jabal Ali, respectively, Route 2020 from the Gardens to Expo 2020 does exist and from 1 June 2021 to 15 April 2024, Ibn Battuta - the end is on the branch line and you had to change at metro station number thirty-eight plus that time the trains on the branch line were Alstoms that sound WAY different than this one.
