Excellent game by both goalkeepers. A very hard and uncertain game until the very end. Well done to both teams. This is definitely one of the best games this season...
What a match between the two big cup contenders, easily the best one of the season so far. Scoreline 1-0 just proves that these teams have the two best goalies in the NHL at the moment. Its rare when the fans can enjoy saves more than goals

Kotchetkov was the difference in this game, and Aho of course. Plenty of times where Bob was clean beat; could've easily been a 3 or 4 nothing game. Very good game regardless.
*I managed to tune in after the Pens game and noticed it was 1-0 after keeping track and seeing it was tied at 0. Didn't realize Aho scored with less than 20 seconds left in the game. Truly amazing. "Koochie" and Bobrovsky did amazing jobs all game to keep the game scoreless for as long as they did. Nice work, Canes!*
What a GAME !! watching these two teams battle with heart and goaltenders standing on their heads is what the NHL is all about. We do not need 10 goals to see great hockey. In fact, some of the best games I have ever seen are low-scoring hard working hockey.

@@paulgarcia9181Until the Panthers win a cup, the Canes have an edge on them. It's the same thing with Tampa Bay, they'll always be the older brother until the Cats climb out from under that shadow. I'm not saying they aren't good though.

I would say Boston and Tampa Bay are our biggest rivals with Carolina coming in hot because of their recent games the past few years. The Panthers have seen the Bruins the most in the playoffs and managed to win 8 out of their 12 meetings. They made NHL history as the only 8th seed team to beat a 1st seed team who had just broken the NHL record for most wins in history with a point differential of some 40 points or so while coming back from a 3-1 deficit and winning out the series. Then they made history with the Canes in the ECF and had the 6th longest playoff game in NHL history. The Panthers have played the Lightning the most with a winning record of 79-77-10 counting their playoffs. Does the fact that both the Bruins and the Lightning have won cups change their rivalries? I personally don't think so

Was at the game. One of best I have seen at PNC arena. What a roller coaster ride. Just before the Panthers goal, Aho missed (not shown in the recap, I don't know why) on basically an empty net from few feet away (that what the commentators are referring to with Aho having nightmares). We all thought Florida was going to win, but then it is offside and Aho with redemption. What a game!

I'd say take it as a humbling experience and move on. There are plenty of teams that can hang with the Panthers, they're not bad, but now is not the time to get overconfident. Look what happened to Boston last year.

Российская вратарская школа с огромным отрывом лучшая в мире. И игра, не смотря на всего 1 гол, по качеству и напряжению, на мой вкус - лучщая в сезоне и ещё лучше мы вряд ли увидим. Только если от этих же команд.
