Javed Bashir is one of the most talented and classically-tuned singer but least acknowledged. Together with Akbar Ali, they make a deadly combo as they did in “Naina Morey”, Coke Studio 10 (highly recommended for next reaction). Yes, the domain of Surs and Alaaps and exhibiting the skills of acquired knowledge in a manner that appears fresh and soothing to ears is very hard. You seem to belong to that class of music lovers who themselves at first are good listeners and posses decent knowledge of music. Kudos to your intergrity and judgement regarding the song “Jhaliya”. In terms of views, it is one of the underrated song of CS. But again most of the people are devoid of music sense and appreciation.
