It was more that she knew she had a good man, but that she was going to sabotage the relationship like she always did. In this song she was sort of self loathing and always messed up her life.

By the way, all her songs are autobiographical, she only sang about her real experiences. You can literally piece together her tragically short life from listening to her music.
Amy was a very complicated person with addiction problems and self other self harming habits like smoking and doing hard drugs (which started with her boyfriend and then husband Blake). She has quite a tragic life and death honestly.

i can def agree there is a minor bit of sass, but more than anything these lyrics are like knives and they deep because she was in a constant state of broken-heartedness, like to the point where she barely, if at all, was a functional human being. One of those few once in a lifetime type of voices/sound, gone too early, but boy did she suffer her whole life. She was one of those alcoholics that she would become violently ill when she tried to stop. It's so crazy that ppl can be so addicted to alcohol that they their bodies get so used to it that to stop drinking is like running out of oxygen :(
