The first and last College Football game to feature classic teams from the start of the game. (Obviously, there has been classic teams and players in College Football games since, but they have/had, for the most part, to be unlocked and therefore not available from the beginning of the game.)
I loved this game. Just grabbed a complete mint copy on ebay for $13 cuz I need this piece of history back

Nine/Eight times outta ten... SNES is gonna have to always be the definitive version. Why? ....Because you had two years of development time to get off their shoulders. What I mean by that it was an historical accident. Going back to 1989, Sega was thinking since the master system wasn't doing very well so they made a new console (Sega Genesis) because that was always apparently their motto. (don't quote me on this because that was their logical way of doing business, if their systems weren't doing good they'd just come out with a new one every time) See the Mega Drive (as it was known across most of the world) did extremely good, came out in Japan 1988. The SNES had two more years after the fact (which came out in Japan in 1990) They had had TWO more years of development time so that would technically give them the advantage to make more superior hardware.When you have just two systems because that's what you have this case just two, one was definitively be better than the other one. See in the wake of the 1983 video game boom the only console to come up smelling like a rose was Nintendo (Famicom)
you cannot make anything for the 7800, you can't make anything for the master system (which is why as a result you had both companies respectively making almost all their own games for their own consoles) That policy (which was eventually considered a monopoly) was basically in effect for the first few years of the 4th generation (so when you think of Genesis/Mega Drive almost every game you love on it was made by Sega they weren't allowed to have much first party development time (if you're into their old school classics like that).
