Really great review. Very informative. I would not have considered the mildest product with the heaviest cut foam pad. But the finish-out with that combination was remarkable. Time to step up to the BOSS!

Good job. Questiion. What polisher brand are you using and what’s the throw? Although as a detailed myself. Brands of machines don’t really matter and can get same results. Like you stated good machines wean feel better handling,less vibration and depending on the throw much faster to complete. Good job explaining the scenarios. Educating customers the True Value of what real Detailers do and the respect for our hard work will generate more real clients. The ones that truly care for their automobile or marine toys.
The question isn’t what I would use, it depends on the OVERALL GOAL. If the overall goal is to go for as perfect as possible you always use a compound no questions asked (unless the paint is abnormally soft) and finish with a finishing polish. If perfection is your goal and removing the most defects as possible you always use a compound. If the overall goal isn’t to remove every scratch and swirl mark than doing a one step is an option like I used in this video or if you want more defect removal correcting cream. At the end of the day it all depends how many hours you want to spend or how much you are getting compensated if you are a professional Detailer.

Alex Bryan the griots has much much much more power. 850 watt power serious torque. put it this way speed 1 you can actually polish and correct paint. on the porter cable you have to use speed 4 just to apply wax. Speed 4.5 and up are the only speed you can use on the pc to fix paint. Speed 3 on the griots is like speed 5 on the porter cable, only more comfortable and less vibration. Speed 4-6 on the griots is just on another level that I can't even compare to the porter cable. I rarely use speed 6 on the griots, speed 3-5 is all I need.
I am going to be doing my range rover with boss correcting cream and an orange lake country pad. What should i follow with? I live in sp2uthern georgia so was looking at boss finishing cream, but what pad since I would Have did the correcting cream first.
Timothy Berlinski hi Tim thanks for watching. Range Rover paint depending on year is usually on the softer side of the spectrum. You have to ask your self what is the overall goal. If you want the best possible finish a multi step is the way to go. If perfection or near perfection is your goal an all-in-one should never be your choice of polish. If perfection is the goal use the fast correcting cream and you can follow behind it with the finishing sealant. If your ok with 60-70% defect removal (this is more than ok for a daily driver such as this beat up f150) Never spend 7-10 hours on a all in one of you spend 10 hours on an all in one that tells me you are trying to make the panel perfect. Not a wise choice at that point this is like walking when you have access to a car. The orange pad is a great pad for an all in one or the correcting cream. Orange pad and correcting cream can grant you 70-80% defect removal depending on your skill set. If you have any other questions comment anytime good luck
@@NextLevelAutoDetail its a 2010. And I am not looking for. Complete correction so 80% would be fine. Maybe when i get better at it I'll shoot for 100% and a ceramic coating. For now I'll do correcting cream orange pad, finishing sealant black pad and then top it off with poly wax.
How would you rate this compared to mckee's 37 360 with that same pad on the same machine....I have a mercedes e350 white to do in a few weeks with lots local car wash swirls.
mynsxt6 finishing sealant is more geared toward paint correction. It has no cleaners. Is is Perfecting Cream with some protection. 360 will last A LOT longer. In most cases you can absolutely expect 360 to last 6 months + . 360 is more geared toward enhancement and production style jobs where time and compensation isn’t on your side and the goal is to Increase clarity Remove minor defects Smooth paint Protected paint Yes you can do the same application with finishing sealant but it is a more expensive product. It really depends on the overall goal. If a client wanted to gloss up a car for around 2-$250 I would give the 360 application. If a client was willing to pay 300-400 I would opt for the finishing sealant as it is more of a dedicated polish that can achieve paint correction That is how I would use the products. Does not mean that is the only way!
Unfortunatelly.in europe we have no axcess to hd speed or griots boss products. There any recomendation on AIO product witch we can find in europe??? Such as scholl a15, britemax AIO , sonax polish wax 2,3...or other????
marios kosmidhs you should have access to Menzerna 3 in 1. I personally have no experience with Scholl Black. But have heard nothing but gtrat thing about that all-in-one.
Genysmen runner First and foremost people OVER ESTIMATE filling capabilities. There is no magic product that can magically fill scratches and swirl marks. It can disguise and mask extra light ones. Or micro-marring but scratches and deep swirls? Absolutely not. You can remove paint using baby lotion on your pad. Understand your pad is an abrasive its self. Yes there is permanent paint correction going on. But also understand anything that has wax/sealant/coating has natural filling capablities. There is no way around that. Anything that includes protection properties is going to "fill" I Will have a video up soon about the whole filling subject soon. But my advice is your looking for the most defect removal never use a all in one you are making the job harder for your self. If a high level of defect removal is what you desire go with Correcting Cream or Fast Correcting Cream.
Ok, I wanna give it a try and keep your advice not to use it for perfection. Have you tried to use an IPA after using this and still you are seeing that awesome results?
it all depends on what pads you have, If you have the boss pads, start with the orange correcting. Honda paint is on the softer side. but remember if you have to do multiple passes bump up the pad agression. Just because you are seeing results does not mean that is the pad you use. If perfection is not your goal and you just want to remove light scratches and enhance the gloss. Use a correcting pad with finishing sealant. if you have any more questions dont be afraid to ask.
Jorge Sandoval if perfection or the most defect removal is the goal YOU ALWAYS use a compound. Even if you are getting good results with a mid grade polish more than likely it will take 2-3 buffing cycles to level all the damage and that is just going to take longer. If perfection is my goal and im doing a multi stage i cut with compound and a microfiber cutting pad peroid. Even if the paint is on the softer side you still have to cut to remove thr defects in a time efficient fashion. Perfection or even near perfection was not the goal for this truck. Infact the polish that i did in this video was over kill for this daily driver.
So are the swirls corrected or filled? I know it's a bit of both but it'd be interesting to see how the paint is if you strip down what's left. Don't get me wrong it's very impressive!
corrected all the boss cream are "what you see is what you get" This may have very light fillers due to the protection aspect, if anything I say HD speed has way more fillers then Finishing Sealant. I think a lot of people over state the word "fillers" I could of used poorboys black hole on this truck and it would of maybe hid about 15% of those swirls, and that is a specific designated product to actually hide as most as possible. fillers don't fill every defect they hide light ones and in certain lighting can still be exposed. I will provide another video with a IPA wipe down. and you will still see the same results, how do I know ? because I have did it and tested already. a lot of the new abrasive technology on the market has really jumped to the "Next Level" again if I wanted to hide all of those products with a designated filler it would still look like complete crap, I will also do a video on that as well. this fixed the paint permanently and I didn't even break out my boss to do so, when I tell you a product is good take it to the bank, I only use nothing but the best. and the Boss Cream Lineup is that the best.

I use AIO's for correcting friends and family members cars as they can't tell a swirl from a squirrel.
every car is different the paint has to tell you how long it takes. thats why you have to do a test spot to determine how agressive or non agressive you have to get. as far as charging again that is up to you, prices vary from the level of perfection desired, the materials your using pads, polisher , polishes etc. it really all depends if your polishing the car for a hour or 13 hours. you have to decide what it takes for you to make money and be profitable. there is no template right or wrong answer.

Luxury Details no, if you have problems with pads Gumming up with other all in one polishes, make sure you are not using a closed cell pad. a closed cell pad will accelerate Gumming as the wax just rides on top of the face of the pad with no where to go. making your buffing cycles spotty and inconsistent. but this is a excellent product. I would never butter/prime the entire face of the pad with other all in ones.

Luxury Details hd speed with a closed cell pad will make a uncomfortable buffing experience, use open cell pads, and don't prime, use a few drops 4 small drops when you are done. with Finishing sealant, Gumming your pad isn't really a issue, it might not even be a issue with a closed cell pad, I never tried.
This is lightyears ahead of d151. this stuff is a dream to work with, all the boss creams have a combo of sub micron abrasives and dat abrasives. all the boss polishes finish amazing but still continue to cut even with the infinite working time. these Boss polishes are the most elite polishes out right now, they are just too good. From Fast correcting cream to finishing sealant, this line is lights out
Perfecting Cream has more cut and leaves behind about 1-2 months of protection. 360 has cleaners and leaves behind more durable protection. It really all depends on the situation and overall goal. If you are detailing a daily driver for a quick shine the 360 is the way to go. You can skip the claying step if you dont mind sacrificing your pads and the cleaners will remove embedded contaminants. If you are working on a bmw with light/moderate defects the Finishing Sealant might be a good option. Each product has their advantage and disadvantage. It all depends on the damage and overall goal 😀
Finishing Sealant is more of a professional product, Finishing Sealant has more correction capabilities than One Step Sealant, the sub micron abrasives that are used in these Boss polishes are the most advanced abrasive technology on the market, so this product is night and day compared to one step sealant. it's called boss for a reason.
Curious to know if you’re still satisfied with this stuff or if you’ve moved on to a new product? I’m looking at this but know that it’s now years old and detailing technology has come a long way. Turtle was Once and Done seems to be the stuff people want now. I can’t find a video to compare the two. Would you still recommend the Griots 4 years later compared to other products? Thanks
The abrasive technology 4 years later is still top tier. The boss creams are my primary polishes that I use at my shops till this day. Finishing sealant is a unique all-in-one type of product. It’s performs more like a dedicated polish than a traditional all-in-one. Traditional all-in-ones are more wax infused while the finishing sealant acts and performs like a true polish that leaves decent protection behind. You also have to ask your self if a all in one is the product you need for your application. If perfection or near perfect is your overall goal do not use a all in one. If you want the best result possible commit to a multi stage paint correction.

With so many new ones it’s tough to know if the old stuff is still desired because nobody covers it anymore and the products seem to get easier and easier to use over time. I have a black truck with 20k miles. It has only seen a drive their car wash once. Swirls are at a minimum but I notice them. I’m getting water spots from previous sealants and waxes. I’ve very careful washing and protecting. I use the 2 bucket method and always clean micro fibers. Again, very minor swirling but even though it’s a daily driver I like having the show car look all the time so yes I spend a lot of time cleaning it. I’d like to do a graphene coating eventually but I want to correct everything first. I was hoping the finishing creek was enough to handle the little work I have in it first. Again, thank you for answering my questions.
@@GRJCLyon if you plan on using a coating do not use any type of all in one product. Use a dedicated polish. I would recommend correcting cream and like a orange pad if your defects aren’t major. Again do not use a all in one if you plan on costing.

But thank you for the reminder. 👍🏻 TW Flex was infused with Graphene is what I’ve also tried and love it but again a little correction needs to be done. Now the TW Flex can be used over sealants, waxes and ceramic coatings apparently. The TW has the absolute best beading I’ve gotten from my entire arsenal in my garage ofdetailing products. I’d love to polish, IPA, Glaze, was and then graphene was from TW as a topper. Yes it’s a lot but I have products that I like that all do different things but don’t do everything. I’m hoping to make a “perfection stack” curious if you’ve ever tried something like that? Thanks again.
i used the Griots Garage 6 Inch DA to show that you can get excellent results with this product even with a entry level machine, that was to encourage novice detailers that you can get excellent results with this machine or the pc 7424xp, if i used the G21 people would say that the machine did all the work and not the polish. the G21 would of gotten even better results, but just goes to show you that if you have a quality pad , and a quality Polish you can get pro like results with little effort. thats why i did not use the G21
I could not agree with you more about covering the whole pad with a thin amount . I watched probably over a hundred videos about car detailing so far and you and one other guy mentioned covering the entire pad . I don't know much about auto detailing but it bothered the hell out of me to see them run the polisher and then when they turn the machine over three little dots on the pad all dried up.
@9:40 Letting off pressure when paint correcting is completely pointless. That’s like going over your lawn again with your mower while raising the blades higher.
NIce vid, really good results. Have you tried adding a little of their heavier compound in with that product? I have done this with speed, actually bump it up with cut and polish and more poxy, but what I am getting at is try adding a little product to bump it up, and you will get some higher %age results :) But for one steps out of the bottle I may have to try it, they are only an hour ride from me.
fast correcting cream finishes so nice i would have no problem doing that. I never tried it but i know it would work with no issues. But to be insane if i was to use fast correcting cream with a polishing pad like the yellow rupes pad or 9 times out of 10 it can and will finish lsp ready. its that elite.

Thanks for the video, im debating getting the BOSS 15 polish kit, or the Adams Swirl killer 15 kit. I like adams due to the simplicity and easy 1 2 step kinda thing. How, have you like your griot boss so far?
Remember that polishing can be as simple or intricate as a process as YOU make it. It all depends on the overall goal of each car. If you are willing to do 2 steps on any vehicle you are going to get a high level of defect removal no matter what polisher you use. The Boss Creams are IMO one of the best polishes on the market. Those 4 Polishes that came with the "system" you can virtually tackle any job/project. Such as showroom paint correction, one steps, all in one shiner jobs etc. As far as the polishers go............. They all have little things that are different each machine has his advantages and dis advantages. I have heard good things about the adams swirl killer. However I prefer the ergonomics of the Boss tools. They have rubber grips throughout the polisher and when you are polishing vehicles for hours and days that makes all the difference in the world. I own Rupes tools, flex tools, boss tools, and I love them all. But the Boss tools are my personal favorite. I would go with the Boss 15 kit, More so for the polishes then the machine.
procksyabish A1 totally different, the boss line is for professional use and professional results, however the boss creams are all easier to use and you will experience better results. the boss line compared to griots old polishes are night and day.
Nice review man!!!...I absolutely love my g21 and their pads..I'm glad I saw this video because almost every polisher manufacturer comes out with their own polish line but always hesitant to try them out due to their huge marketing hype..usually stick with menzerna but this is not the first time I heard that their polishes are the ish...got to try them out...so if the correcting power of finishing sealant with the right pad can do this, I'm curious how the perfecting cream will do?..anyways great informative video !!!
the Boss System is the real deal, no joke. i have almost every polisher, and polish on the market, and i use the Boss System 9 times out of 10 for all my polishing/correction needs. all 4 of those Creams i can tackle any job or paint. it really takes the guess work out of polishing. Perfecting Cream and Finishing Sealant have the same abrasive, the only difference is Finishing Sealant has protection in it. as Perfecting Cream does not. incase if you were to do a coating, Paint protection film, etc. whats cool about Finishing Sealant is after you removed all the damage with Fast Correcting Cream, it finishes so darn nice you can seriously go around the car in less than a hour with Finishing Sealant to squeeze whatever gloss you can out of the paint and seal. so its kind of a 1.5 step.

Yes, I reccommend Poly Wax by Griots Garage, you can get it locally at a Advance Auto Parts, and it has the best longevity of any wax or sealant. its strong stuff. it was made for serious durability. I spoke with the guys at Griots and they reccommend toping this with Poly Wax if you was to top it.
Brooke Maheng microfiber cuts but will leave marring. the paint would have to be super hard to not leave marring behind. and if it leaves marring that is defying the point of a one step. foam finishes much better than microfiber. if I used microfiber cutting pad on this Paint it would absolutely leave micro marring.

I have a black Tahoe that is in pretty bad shape, it looks like it got wet sanded from previous owner taking it through the automatic wash. i have a 15 mm throw, plus all the boss pads, I think I'll use the white pad like you did. thanks for the advice! even though it's such an old video lol
Next Level Auto Detail that explains a lot, I started my 87 Silverado and for some reason the microfiber and correcting cream left a lot of scratches that came out with the white pad or orange pad, It was pretty oxidazide since I got it repainted 3 years ago and it got parked ever since with no protection
Didnt correct the paint. I enhanced it. This is not what i call paint correction this is paint enhancement. I did get ALOT of defect removal however. Thats whh i used a all in one. I did the entire truck in less than 2 hours. I would never spend 10+ hours on a 1998 F150 with 200k miles.
Hello! I recently talked to you about my issue with the marring on another channel. I attacked the paint with an orange pad/V36 and as expected there was marring left over. I then proceeded to finish it with a white pad/V38 and it did clear up most of the marring but there is still slight marring in the paint :/ I'm afraid to keep trying:/
+Ruben4 yes, correct wash them, make sure all the all purpose cleaner is out of it, ring it out. wrap it in a towel to dry it, both of them. i dont know why you went orange and v36, the orange pad is what introduced the marring. white pad v36 with light pressure. after that black paf v38 with NO PRESSURE JUST THE WEIGHT OF THE MACHINE.
His movement was too fast, especially at the turns. He should have used one of the other products in the line first and finish with this product with a less aggressive pad. He would NEVER get 100% using that pad. Pretty silly test of the product!
Gerry R these comments always make me laugh. I made a specific video for “professionals” such as your self. Watch my video “how to use a all in one to profit” This Rough work truck f150 had 220k Miles with rust on the body. Do you see how badly it was scratched ? Do you think it’s a smart idea to spend 20 + hours on a work truck that is going to get hammered at the automatic car wash 3 days after I polished it ? Perspective I don’t polish a daily driver work truck like a Enzo Ferrari. These comments always make me laugh, you Keyboard warriors always look at the negative. Did you see how badly damaged this truck was ? Did you see the MAJOR improvement ? Would you not agree that the truck looks 100% better then what it was? Why argue with results? An all-in-one is not designed for perfection it is designed for ENHANCING. Perspective pal glass half full glass half empty. If anything that could open his eyes and realize that daily drivers do not have to be perfect. That is the mentality of a beginning pro or enthusiast. It slows my entire detailing process down to document and showcase the work or procedure I am teaching. I do not make videos for money or endorsement. Angelo Gonzalez are you serious ? it's a "one step polish" getting perfection from a "one step polish" is not the goal lol. if i wanted to get the panel perfect, compounding, polishing or wetsanding would be involved. the video was to show the capablities of a "all in one" one step product and It got 80% defect removal. did you see how bad the truck was ? perfection would not even be able to be achieved. You saying there's still some scratches and swirls is a compliment for a "one step polish" watch my other video I recently uploaded about the rules of a one step polish so you can get a better understanding. again I used a entry level machine with a all in one mid grade polish and got excellent results without compounding.

I used it with a 21inch throw with a 6 meduimum cut pad and results are amazing this sealant if fantastic

Good job. Questiion. What polisher brand are you using and what’s the throw? Although as a detailed myself. Brands of machines don’t really matter and can get same results. Like you stated good machines wean feel better handling,less vibration and depending on the throw much faster to complete. Good job explaining the scenarios. Educating customers the True Value of what real Detailers do and the respect for our hard work will generate more real clients. The ones that truly care for their automobile or marine toys.

The question isn’t what I would use, it depends on the OVERALL GOAL.
If the overall goal is to go for as perfect as possible you always use a compound no questions asked (unless the paint is abnormally soft) and finish with a finishing polish.
If perfection is your goal and removing the most defects as possible you always use a compound.
If the overall goal isn’t to remove every scratch and swirl mark than doing a one step is an option like I used in this video or if you want more defect removal correcting cream.
At the end of the day it all depends how many hours you want to spend or how much you are getting compensated if you are a professional Detailer.

How different is that polisher from the porter cable 7424 xp?
Alex Bryan the griots has much much much more power. 850 watt power serious torque. put it this way speed 1 you can actually polish and correct paint. on the porter cable you have to use speed 4 just to apply wax.
Speed 4.5 and up are the only speed you can use on the pc to fix paint.
Speed 3 on the griots is like speed 5 on the porter cable, only more comfortable and less vibration. Speed 4-6 on the griots is just on another level that I can't even compare to the porter cable.
I rarely use speed 6 on the griots, speed 3-5 is all I need.

What swirl light are you using?
I am going to be doing my range rover with boss correcting cream and an orange lake country pad. What should i follow with? I live in sp2uthern georgia so was looking at boss finishing cream, but what pad since I would Have did the correcting cream first.

Range Rover paint depending on year is usually on the softer side of the spectrum.
You have to ask your self what is the overall goal.
If you want the best possible finish a multi step is the way to go. If perfection or near perfection is your goal an all-in-one should never be your choice of polish.
If perfection is the goal use the fast correcting cream and you can follow behind it with the finishing sealant.
If your ok with 60-70% defect removal (this is more than ok for a daily driver such as this beat up f150)
Never spend 7-10 hours on a all in one of you spend 10 hours on an all in one that tells me you are trying to make the panel perfect. Not a wise choice at that point this is like walking when you have access to a car.
The orange pad is a great pad for an all in one or the correcting cream. Orange pad and correcting cream can grant you 70-80% defect removal depending on your skill set.

@@NextLevelAutoDetail its a 2010. And I am not looking for. Complete correction so 80% would be fine. Maybe when i get better at it I'll shoot for 100% and a ceramic coating. For now I'll do correcting cream orange pad, finishing sealant black pad and then top it off with poly wax.

How would you rate this compared to mckee's 37 360 with that same pad on the same machine....I have a mercedes e350 white to do in a few weeks with lots local car wash swirls.
mynsxt6 finishing sealant is more geared toward paint correction. It has no cleaners. Is is Perfecting Cream with some protection.
360 will last A LOT longer. In most cases you can absolutely expect 360 to last 6 months + .
360 is more geared toward enhancement and production style jobs where time and compensation isn’t on your side and the goal is to
Increase clarity
Remove minor defects
Smooth paint
Protected paint
Yes you can do the same application with finishing sealant but it is a more expensive product.
It really depends on the overall goal.
If a client wanted to gloss up a car for around 2-$250 I would give the 360 application.
If a client was willing to pay 300-400 I would opt for the finishing sealant as it is more of a dedicated polish that can achieve paint correction
That is how I would use the products. Does not mean that is the only way!

Unfortunatelly.in europe we have no axcess to hd speed or griots boss products. There any recomendation on AIO product witch we can find in europe??? Such as scholl a15, britemax AIO , sonax polish wax 2,3...or other????
marios kosmidhs you should have access to Menzerna 3 in 1. I personally have no experience with Scholl Black. But have heard nothing but gtrat thing about that all-in-one.

Genysmen runner First and foremost people OVER ESTIMATE filling capabilities.
There is no magic product that can magically fill scratches and swirl marks. It can disguise and mask extra light ones. Or micro-marring but scratches and deep swirls? Absolutely not.
You can remove paint using baby lotion on your pad. Understand your pad is an abrasive its self.
Yes there is permanent paint correction going on.
But also understand anything that has wax/sealant/coating has natural filling capablities. There is no way around that. Anything that includes protection properties is going to "fill"

But my advice is your looking for the most defect removal never use a all in one you are making the job harder for your self.
If a high level of defect removal is what you desire go with Correcting Cream or Fast Correcting Cream.
Ok, I wanna give it a try and keep your advice not to use it for perfection. Have you tried to use an IPA after using this and still you are seeing that awesome results?

it all depends on what pads you have, If you have the boss pads, start with the orange correcting. Honda paint is on the softer side. but remember if you have to do multiple passes bump up the pad agression. Just because you are seeing results does not mean that is the pad you use. If perfection is not your goal and you just want to remove light scratches and enhance the gloss. Use a correcting pad with finishing sealant. if you have any more questions dont be afraid to ask.

Jorge Sandoval if perfection or the most defect removal is the goal YOU ALWAYS use a compound. Even if you are getting good results with a mid grade polish more than likely it will take 2-3 buffing cycles to level all the damage and that is just going to take longer.
If perfection is my goal and im doing a multi stage i cut with compound and a microfiber cutting pad peroid. Even if the paint is on the softer side you still have to cut to remove thr defects in a time efficient fashion.
Perfection or even near perfection was not the goal for this truck. Infact the polish that i did in this video was over kill for this daily driver.

So are the swirls corrected or filled? I know it's a bit of both but it'd be interesting to see how the paint is if you strip down what's left. Don't get me wrong it's very impressive!

This may have very light fillers due to the protection aspect, if anything I say HD speed has way more fillers then Finishing Sealant.
I think a lot of people over state the word "fillers" I could of used poorboys black hole on this truck and it would of maybe hid about 15% of those swirls, and that is a specific designated product to actually hide as most as possible.
fillers don't fill every defect they hide light ones and in certain lighting can still be exposed.
I will provide another video with a IPA wipe down. and you will still see the same results, how do I know ? because I have did it and tested already.
a lot of the new abrasive technology on the market has really jumped to the "Next Level"
again if I wanted to hide all of those products with a designated filler it would still look like complete crap, I will also do a video on that as well.
this fixed the paint permanently and I didn't even break out my boss to do so, when I tell you a product is good take it to the bank, I only use nothing but the best.
and the Boss Cream Lineup is that the best.

every car is different the paint has to tell you how long it takes.
thats why you have to do a test spot to determine how agressive or non agressive you have to get.
as far as charging again that is up to you, prices vary from the level of perfection desired, the materials your using pads, polisher , polishes etc.
it really all depends if your polishing the car for a hour or 13 hours.
you have to decide what it takes for you to make money and be profitable.
there is no template right or wrong answer.

Luxury Details no, if you have problems with pads Gumming up with other all in one polishes, make sure you are not using a closed cell pad. a closed cell pad will accelerate Gumming as the wax just rides on top of the face of the pad with no where to go. making your buffing cycles spotty and inconsistent.
but this is a excellent product. I would never butter/prime the entire face of the pad with other all in ones.

Luxury Details hd speed with a closed cell pad will make a uncomfortable buffing experience, use open cell pads, and don't prime, use a few drops 4 small drops when you are done.
with Finishing sealant, Gumming your pad isn't really a issue, it might not even be a issue with a closed cell pad, I never tried.

this stuff is a dream to work with, all the boss creams have a combo of sub micron abrasives and dat abrasives.
all the boss polishes finish amazing but still continue to cut even with the infinite working time.

Perfecting Cream has more cut and leaves behind about 1-2 months of protection.
360 has cleaners and leaves behind more durable protection.
It really all depends on the situation and overall goal.
If you are detailing a daily driver for a quick shine the 360 is the way to go. You can skip the claying step if you dont mind sacrificing your pads and the cleaners will remove embedded contaminants.
If you are working on a bmw with light/moderate defects the Finishing Sealant might be a good option.
Each product has their advantage and disadvantage.
It all depends on the damage and overall goal 😀

Finishing Sealant is more of a professional product, Finishing Sealant has more correction capabilities than One Step Sealant, the sub micron abrasives that are used in these Boss polishes are the most advanced abrasive technology on the market, so this product is night and day compared to one step sealant.

Curious to know if you’re still satisfied with this stuff or if you’ve moved on to a new product? I’m looking at this but know that it’s now years old and detailing technology has come a long way. Turtle was Once and Done seems to be the stuff people want now. I can’t find a video to compare the two. Would you still recommend the Griots 4 years later compared to other products? Thanks
The abrasive technology 4 years later is still top tier.
The boss creams are my primary polishes that I use at my shops till this day.
Finishing sealant is a unique all-in-one type of product. It’s performs more like a dedicated polish than a traditional all-in-one.
Traditional all-in-ones are more wax infused while the finishing sealant acts and performs like a true polish that leaves decent protection behind.
You also have to ask your self if a all in one is the product you need for your application.
If perfection or near perfect is your overall goal do not use a all in one. If you want the best result possible commit to a multi stage paint correction.

I have a black truck with 20k miles. It has only seen a drive their car wash once. Swirls are at a minimum but I notice them. I’m getting water spots from previous sealants and waxes. I’ve very careful washing and protecting. I use the 2 bucket method and always clean micro fibers. Again, very minor swirling but even though it’s a daily driver I like having the show car look all the time so yes I spend a lot of time cleaning it. I’d like to do a graphene coating eventually but I want to correct everything first. I was hoping the finishing creek was enough to handle the little work I have in it first. Again, thank you for answering my questions.

Use a dedicated polish. I would recommend correcting cream and like a orange pad if your defects aren’t major.

But thank you for the reminder. 👍🏻 TW Flex was infused with Graphene is what I’ve also tried and love it but again a little correction needs to be done. Now the TW Flex can be used over sealants, waxes and ceramic coatings apparently. The TW has the absolute best beading I’ve gotten from my entire arsenal in my garage ofdetailing products. I’d love to polish, IPA, Glaze, was and then graphene was from TW as a topper. Yes it’s a lot but I have products that I like that all do different things but don’t do everything. I’m hoping to make a “perfection stack” curious if you’ve ever tried something like that? Thanks again.

Why not use the G21?
i used the Griots Garage 6 Inch DA to show that you can get excellent results with this product even with a entry level machine, that was to encourage novice detailers that you can get excellent results with this machine or the pc 7424xp, if i used the G21 people would say that the machine did all the work and not the polish.
the G21 would of gotten even better results, but just goes to show you that if you have a quality pad , and a quality Polish you can get pro like results with little effort.

I could not agree with you more about covering the whole pad with a thin amount . I watched probably over a hundred videos about car detailing so far and you and one other guy mentioned covering the entire pad . I don't know much about auto detailing but it bothered the hell out of me to see them run the polisher and then when they turn the machine over three little dots on the pad all dried up.
Will it look good if I use Griot's correcting cream then to the finishing sealant. Or should I go correcting cream to a polish then finish sealant.

NIce vid, really good results. Have you tried adding a little of their heavier compound in with that product? I have done this with speed, actually bump it up with cut and polish and more poxy, but what I am getting at is try adding a little product to bump it up, and you will get some higher %age results :) But for one steps out of the bottle I may have to try it, they are only an hour ride from me.
fast correcting cream finishes so nice i would have no problem doing that. I never tried it but i know it would work with no issues. But to be insane if i was to use fast correcting cream with a polishing pad like the yellow rupes pad or 9 times out of 10 it can and will finish lsp ready. its that elite.

Remember that polishing can be as simple or intricate as a process as YOU make it. It all depends on the overall goal of each car. If you are willing to do 2 steps on any vehicle you are going to get a high level of defect removal no matter what polisher you use.
The Boss Creams are IMO one of the best polishes on the market.
Those 4 Polishes that came with the "system" you can virtually tackle any job/project. Such as showroom paint correction, one steps, all in one shiner jobs etc.
As far as the polishers go............. They all have little things that are different each machine has his advantages and dis advantages. I have heard good things about the adams swirl killer. However I prefer the ergonomics of the Boss tools. They have rubber grips throughout the polisher and when you are polishing vehicles for hours and days that makes all the difference in the world.
I own Rupes tools, flex tools, boss tools, and I love them all. But the Boss tools are my personal favorite.
I would go with the Boss 15 kit, More so for the polishes then the machine.

Nice review man!!!...I absolutely love my g21 and their pads..I'm glad I saw this video because almost every polisher manufacturer comes out with their own polish line but always hesitant to try them out due to their huge marketing hype..usually stick with menzerna but this is not the first time I heard that their polishes are the ish...got to try them out...so if the correcting power of finishing sealant with the right pad can do this, I'm curious how the perfecting cream will do?..anyways great informative video !!!
the Boss System is the real deal, no joke. i have almost every polisher, and polish on the market, and i use the Boss System 9 times out of 10 for all my polishing/correction needs. all 4 of those Creams i can tackle any job or paint. it really takes the guess work out of polishing.
Perfecting Cream and Finishing Sealant have the same abrasive, the only difference is Finishing Sealant has protection in it. as Perfecting Cream does not. incase if you were to do a coating, Paint protection film, etc.
whats cool about Finishing Sealant is after you removed all the damage with Fast Correcting Cream, it finishes so darn nice you can seriously go around the car in less than a hour with Finishing Sealant to squeeze whatever gloss you can out of the paint and seal. so its kind of a 1.5 step.

Yes, I reccommend Poly Wax by Griots Garage, you can get it locally at a Advance Auto Parts, and it has the best longevity of any wax or sealant. its strong stuff. it was made for serious durability. I spoke with the guys at Griots and they reccommend toping this with Poly Wax if you was to top it.

what do you think about using a boss microfiber instead of the white pad?
Brooke Maheng microfiber cuts but will leave marring. the paint would have to be super hard to not leave marring behind.
and if it leaves marring that is defying the point of a one step.
foam finishes much better than microfiber. if I used microfiber cutting pad on this Paint it would absolutely leave micro marring.
Next Level Auto Detail oh okay awesome! I have a black Tahoe that is in pretty bad shape, it looks like it got wet sanded from previous owner taking it through the automatic wash. i have a 15 mm throw, plus all the boss pads, I think I'll use the white pad like you did.

Next Level Auto Detail that explains a lot, I started my 87 Silverado and for some reason the microfiber and correcting cream left a lot of scratches that came out with the white pad or orange pad, It was pretty oxidazide since I got it repainted 3 years ago and it got parked ever since with no protection

Didnt correct the paint. I enhanced it. This is not what i call paint correction this is paint enhancement. I did get ALOT of defect removal however. Thats whh i used a all in one. I did the entire truck in less than 2 hours.
I would never spend 10+ hours on a 1998 F150 with 200k miles.
Hello! I recently talked to you about my issue with the marring on another channel. I attacked the paint with an orange pad/V36 and as expected there was marring left over. I then proceeded to finish it with a white pad/V38 and it did clear up most of the marring but there is still slight marring in the paint :/ I'm afraid to keep trying:/
i didnt tell you to use orange + v36 i told you to use white and v36 then black and v38

+Ruben4 yes, correct wash them, make sure all the all purpose cleaner is out of it, ring it out. wrap it in a towel to dry it, both of them.
i dont know why you went orange and v36, the orange pad is what introduced the marring.
white pad v36 with light pressure.
after that black paf v38 with NO PRESSURE JUST THE WEIGHT OF THE MACHINE.
White pad also started turning orange after the first pass not too sure what that was either. Might of been the adhesive from the tape?

You dont need to use that much product. 3-4 dime dots is enough.
your movement is. a little to fast and the speed for the product should have stayed around 4.
His movement was too fast, especially at the turns. He should have used one of the other products in the line first and finish with this product with a less aggressive pad. He would NEVER get 100% using that pad. Pretty silly test of the product!
Joe doesn't care. It's all about customer's expectation and if you go too slow, it goes against the purpose of all-in-one/speed polishes.

This Rough work truck f150 had 220k Miles with rust on the body. Do you see how badly it was scratched ? Do you think it’s a smart idea to spend 20 + hours on a work truck that is going to get hammered at the automatic car wash 3 days after I polished it ?
Perspective I don’t polish a daily driver work truck like a Enzo Ferrari.

Could I have went about it in a different way ? Sure but once again I do videos for fun I owe nothing to anybody especially on RUclips.
I do it for good intentions and when my work or character gets questioned it can be frustrating. But that comes with the territory.
How I spoke to Gerry r has nothing to do with how I run my business.
What someone does with the information I display in my videos is up to them. If I helped a few people that is good enough for me. I do not care if Gerry R subscribes to me or you subscribe to me. Because in reality I do not care.
That may seem mean, or abrasive but that is the reality of the matter. If you do not find my videos informative that is out of my control. Much like when directors make movies some people will love it some will hate it you can not satisfy everybody.
People think Fight Club is a great movie I find it to be god awful. That does not mean that the people that do like it are wrong different strokes for different folks.
If you think I rely on RUclips for any kind of clout, or money you are wrong.
I greatly appreciate all support I get. But for people like you to leave comments saying I am going to see if I am worth a subscription.
Do you honestly think I care if you find my videos informative or not ? No I don’t it’s either you connect with them or don’t.

Angelo Gonzalez are you serious ? it's a "one step polish" getting perfection from a "one step polish" is not the goal lol.
if i wanted to get the panel perfect, compounding, polishing or wetsanding would be involved.
the video was to show the capablities of a "all in one" one step product and It got 80% defect removal. did you see how bad the truck was ? perfection would not even be able to be achieved.
You saying there's still some scratches and swirls is a compliment for a "one step polish"

again I used a entry level machine with a all in one mid grade polish and got excellent results without compounding.
Yeah, what does this vid show? Nothing really! Is this a proper use of this product? Hell no! Could you get paid for doing a vehicle with this procedure? LMMFAO! No!
