A few weeks ago, when my cat got lost for a few days (because we moved and he is not used to the new house) I heard from a friend that when I come across a any cat on the street, I should tell her a message that she would pass on to my cat and that he would come back. And he really came back 🙂 You can try, you don't lose anything.
