Micron pens work perfectly in mine and no smearing. Writes so pretty in there.
Because of your detailed presentation on Plum Planner, it's a good contestant for my 2021 planner. I am using two Erin Condren for various needs but I plan on switching in 2021. I like the customizing ability of Plum Planner.

I love my Plum Paper Planner! I've tried a few others over the years but I keep coming back to Plum Paper. I had 8 months left in the last one I bought and ordered a Plum Paper anyways because nothing else worked as well for me.
I switched from Erin Condren to Plum and I LOVE it! No shade to Erin, I just really love the look, feel, and customization options that you get with Plum.
My first time using a PPP (Daily) too. My Pentel Energel 0.7 pens just glide on this paper and don’t smudge. Thanks for this video. Excited to see someone doing PWM in a PPP. Love your ideas.

I am using the plum paper daily planner since a couple of months and i absolutely love it. I love how customizable they are and in contrary to some views that prefer the paper in the EC planners - i really prefer this paper by far - it is bright white, buttery smooth and it works perfect for the pilot pens that i use - i am defintiley going to keep purchasing this planner❤😍👍
I've always wanted to try this planner :) I prefer bright white paper as well.
I'm happy to see that your EC bookmark works in this planner as I like to use the Coil Clips when I want to add something to a coiled planner. Another question answered!
It's so interesting to me that people are boycotting erin condren, but yet are still using their accessories in other planner brands. I mean do what you want to. We are all grown here, but it is just funny to me to see that. haha I mean like if you are going to boycott, then do it all the way and not partially. haha
@@elanahudson307 Some people that are boycotting have EC products that they already own so they're using the accessories they already have with other planners. But I see what you mean and I agree with you.
When there is a count down to something I would tell my clients in so many sleeps. Really liking this planner.

I use Pentel Energel pens in my Plum Paper Planner, and they don’t smear on the regular pages. On the dashboard pages at the beginning of each month, you have to use a marker of some kind. Sharpie and Arteza are two that I’ve used with no problem.
This was so fun to watch! I totally caved and ordered a daily Plum Paper Planner earlier today. I can't wait to get it now!
It’s so interesting to me that despite all your work and side hustle projects you also do a ton of labor around the house - cleaning, laundry, cooking. I’d be curious to hear more about how that came to be or maybe the division of labor is more equal than it seems in your video. No shade - y’all do what’s best for your relationship but i am curious as to why.
I've been patiently waiting for this video. I've been using the petite daily planner and purchased all four quarters of 2020 together so I plan on using it until the end of 2020. But, like you, I prefer a coil planner and to have full day spreads for Saturdays and Sundays. I'm looking forward to seeing how you use this daily planner and if/how your daily planning changes. This is a strong contender for my 2021 planning stack. Thanks for sharing!
I have been using a Passion planner daily, and trying out the new Amplify Planner next. But then, I’m going to have to try the PPP daily. Every time I see yours I want it! Lol. Love the PPP paper but always used a G2 .5 in it. They just glide so nicely and make my handwriting so nice too! ❤️
I am so thankful that you did this video! 🙏🏻 I recently purchased a 6-month A5 daily from PPP with the college student and reflection add-ones. I was in need of a daily & school planner and loved the pages that PPP had for both. Depending on how this daily planner works for me, I might be purchasing my 2021 planner from PPP as well! It was so nice to see how you planned on setting it up and so helpful to see your POV and plans for it.
I love the paper, but the best pen I’ve found is the .5 sharpie S-gel. It dries instantly for me & im left handed so that’s a must
I’m excited to see your setup with the PP daily. Re: quote sticker, I pick a quote for the week and the first thing I do in the morning when I sit down to plan out my day is I rewrite the quote. Sometimes it’s my quote from my Powersheets, one of the quotes from the MäksēLife planner, or one I fine elsewhere.

I didn't know they had a daily but I dont know much about other planners in general being newish to planning. I really liked the layout in this one, and i like the meal planning in the back that I'm assuming you added or customized yourself too. I have a separate book for that now and having it all together looks just super convenient. I look forward to hearing about your journey in this new planner, thank you so much for sharing.

Omg lol! My mom used to tell me as a countdown to Christmas "there's only 4 more sleeps until Santa comes!" That's hilarious that Plum Paper put that! That just made my day!
I haven't watched the video yet but just saw your comment... My mom and I count down the months to Christmas. Yesterday was 6 months until Christmas!!
I love using a Micron Pigma in my Plum Paper. It never smudges and I'm a lefty.
Does it bleed through the page at all?
@@TechGirl84 Not at all. I also use Papermate Flairs and they don't bleed or shadow either.

Love your set up. Gel pens will smear but if you give it a second, it will dry just fine

Definitely love Micron pens..no smear, no bleed. But I also use Energel pens.
I don’t know if this is helpful, but maybe do your daily set-up layout in the papermate flair and then use a gel pen for filling in the rest and so you can be less dependent on ink drying time (but still get to use the flair). And I totally know what you mean about the Saturday/Sunday pages and how it would be nice to have them as a spread - my dream daily planner would put a simple weekly page in front of Monday so then all the days of the week would be on the same left/right side (if that makes sense)😊.

I like that planner! On the meal plan pages, if they put the lists next to the edge of the paper and not next to the coil, you could tear them out as a shopping list.
I used to use papermate flairs but found the smearing drove me nuts.
I Suggest you check out:
a) Pilot G2 1.0 (gel) dries quickly & has never smeared and is the closest to the ink thinkness of a flair (lasts longer too). I 💗 these pens!
b) Frixion Erasable pens. I only use these pens with my Rocket Fusion Calendar & Business Notebook so I can upload my meeting notes and share with my boss immediately after a hearing. My calendar changes constantly and because Im on the phone I dont get to upload changes to my Google calendar so i note changes quickly during mtgs and do updates later when I'm free.
I love this planner and have been using the Staedtler triplus fineliner for the dashboard which doesn't smear. And the papermate for the pages which takes about 10 seconds to dry.
Hi Laken! I actually use the EC dual-tip markers in my PP, and there is NO smearing. They work great!
Laken, your printing is so good that it could be a font called "Laken". It has a font ring to it!

I'm excited to start my new daily as well! What is the sheet number for the KAD stickers? I found that most pens smear on that paper if you don't wait a little.

Can you list all the add on pages you have? My daily is on its way but I didn’t see a lot of these dispersed pages you have. Also if you want to use you quote stickers in the box you could doodle around it to fill in the space to use them up

I wanted to love Plum Paper because of the customization options. I just couldn't because of the smooth paper. :(
Same. I purchased a PP for 20/21 that i gave away after testing out my pen. I’ll use the EC petite dailies that I had already purchased to finish 2020, but one of my goals is to find some other daily options for 2021 that have paper that works well with my Pilot g2.
I have used two PPP daily since October and my latest one ends in 4 days. I haven’t ordered a new one because I really wasn’t using it because it’s my summer break and haven’t really used it and didn’t want to waste the month. Thanks for the inspo to push me to figure out which PPP I want to order and decide if I want add ons.
I really need a daily planner. I have such a busy work day weekly planners are not functional but I just cannot afford this planner. I any suggestions?
Some planner companies like Emily Ley have daily layouts as free printables on their website, you could go that route!
I use Sharpie pens in mine and they don’t smear.
I think you should put a line through the "water tracker" because if you only give yourself 1 ✔ check mark for the water category, one day when you're looking back at your planner, you'll be like "I only got 1? What?!" So I think tracking water in your daily pages is better! Just my opinion though.
Have you tried those KAD stickers in the petite planner? how do they fit the monthly boxes?
