Hi, love your honest videos. You’re a good lad and I’m a new subscriber.. bit old I am at 63. I have to watch the money. Could you do a few Lidl tins revues .. their beans and sausages..mince in can.. and the stewed steak. It becomes expensive for us to choose. Everything costs so much as you get older. I can’t even get savoury duck these days.. 3 would last me a week. Take care and thank you for being normal and doing amazing videos. “ Silvo” now old😂👍👍

Hi Gareth, not bad at all for £2.50 , about a month ago a new Farmfoods opened up in Wrexham ( we go 2 now ) I will go and get some and for the price that is good value. At 10 this morning I made sausage black pudding and hash brown buttie using two crusts nice and thick I was missing the bacon grill I do love bacon grill. Looks like you enjoyed it . Have a great bank holiday weekend, Take care
Great review Gaz you can’t complain about £2:50 for that amount and farm food, is usually cheap but not quite up there with the quality, but like you say it’s definitely half decent 👍👍
only known hash browns at that place with the big arches . we do Spegs here at home . Grated potato mixed with egg and chopped bacon or ham and fried like a rissole .
Like you I love my food and would have the whole pack to myself. Plus I would have to add the trimmings, fried eggs, grilled toms, beans, mushrooms and fried bread. Then I would call it breakfast. :)
I grew up eating Kershaw meals they used to be £1.29 I remember even getting them for 99p back in the early 2000s. The 2 Beef Grillsteaks with Chips really reminds me of my childhood. I remember being addicted to the Kershaw steaklet and chips

Nice one Gareth. Some recommendations for ya in Aldi. Both new items Dry Aged Lamb Burgers (Fresh) Calzone Chicken Kievs (Freezer) Smash Burgers (Fresh)
When we lived in America we used to to "Mom & Pop" diners for breakfast and hash browns (and home fries) WERE breakfast - often with a fried egg on top and a side of bacon - all for 99 cents. This was this century. In England we still make hash browns - shredded potatoes - not those nasty triangle things, or home fries with breakfast but we include black pudding, tomato and fried bread. We have our cardiologist on speed-dial.
I've always got bacon grill in the cupboard sausage and hash browns and blackpudding in the freezer but jts handy if you staying in a caravan andtake your airfryer with you you could get a airfryer breakfast and some eggs or so handy to have in if your onyour own for a breakfast or tea with an egg and toast are they iniceland love fran ❤xxxxx
Oh, and I have noticed the air fryer isn't so good at frying as a big pan of dripping. But that would work so well with the old traffic lights of health!
The Scottish Breakfast Pack which are fresh are a better deal. More food and no Hash Browns, which is NOT a British breakfast item. Sadly only available in Scotland or the Borders.
That was good value for what you`re paying and two goes for a single person(it would also go well with a pile of chips and mushrooms and Beans). I reckon if they used more expensive ingredients and charged more it would sell as it still works out cheaper than buying whole packs of sausages etc if your cooking for one or on a tight budget.
Good Vid as always Garath....there's about 58 ingredients ..that's without the E numbers? how can anyone eat that sort of stuff, ...and they have the cheek to put Gluten containing in Bold lettering haha , eat that stuff once in a blue moon..not regulary
I see the point with the convenience and all but TBQH as others have pointed out you can put together a better plate by buying separately - and making sauteed potatoes from... well, potatoes. So thanks for trying but I'll go for taste over the covenience bundle.
I'd never think of this for regular eating at home but stash one in the freezer for an emergency, or take them camping, and they're not bad. I think it compares favourably against the Tesco All Day breakfast (350g, 440 cal compared to this with 450g/675cal), or the ones in tins which nowadays cost over £2 and are mostly beans, tomato and water. The total percentage of sausage + bacon slice + bacon and egg bite in a tin of Hunger Breaks all day brekkie is just 22%.
G8 video thank you love air fryer meals food tastes better, cooks faster too, one question how come your not putting any weight on doing all these food reviews? Take care 🎉🎉🎉
Hash browns on breakfast? Yes as long as there are runny eggs and baked beans. That looked ok for £2.49, will have to do a Farm Foods trip (30 miles each way)
Do some bacon reviews from different places who doesn't like a bacon butty? I really like that crown bacon from home bargains it's only a fiver for 1KG and it doesn't shrink much, maybe compare budget bacon from different stores :)
Looks alright that. Good value, if they hadn't bigged up the saus--agge with the Cumberland tag that would have been a top heavy 9/10, slap em all into a crusty buttered roll, tom sauce or hp. Laughing 🥳🥳
I reckon the quality is probably questionable and salt and fat content but for £2.50 with a few bread cakes you have 3-4 breakfasts, sausage sarnie, spam sarnie and maybe black pudding and hash sarnie. So value wise its got to be good and if its half tasty all the better. All the best to Stuart and a speedy recovery.
Your definitely right about beans or tomatoes to go with it! I di love a full fry up. Can I ask you where you got the plate from.? Really like the lipd edg 👍
Sausage, bacon, black pudding, bread spread with butter on griddle, 170c for 20 min. Mushrooms wrapped in foil. 10mins before end. Beans and eggs in foil, or paper dishes, drop of oil for eggs. Lot less hassle and little washing up 🙂
It's very ultra processed, but I guess it's quite good foe £2.49, especially when you consider all you need to add is a slice of toast, a fried egg and a couple of spoonfuls of beans and you have a cooked breakfast for 2 people. Great for a budget!.

@@DavidHamm-fb7nx That's a good idea. I'm new to the air fryer game so I'll give it a try. What I have discovered, especially with sausages or bacon, if you lift out the grill tray after frying, there's a lot of delicious fat to soak up with your bread. It's yummy and saves buttering your bread. Nothing wasted with an air fryer. Now, where's my airfryer teapot?
Hi Gareth, thanks for reviewing this, you did say it was salty a few times but did you realise just how salty it was? It was 450g for £2.49 and for every 100g contained 1.39g of salt so if you ate the whole thing yourself that would be over 6.25g of salt. WOW That needs a health warning!
Gareth it don't look too apperertising borderline in fact they might be Cumberland or Lincolnshire sausages in name only but poodles willy springs to mind.but for a quick easy meal its alright to throw into the air fryer no mess or bursts or splash backs price not to bad.
