"My Lord look at these people, just becuz they stopped being gay doesn't mean that they have to stop having taste."😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂🤣🤣
😅😅😅
"Take it out of the head voice!" gets me EVERY TIME
Same sis!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
“I am shocked and appalled, but are you interested?” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😆😆😆
Yep, still giggling on this line lol. It’s all in the delivery 😆
I've used that line
The way he sneaks in the latter half of that line with the same "shock and appalled" facial expression and body language. LMAO 🤣 Brilliant.
Good stuff I can't take it 😂😂🤣🤣😅
Honey? Was that two men or two women? 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Lmfao!!!! I died and came back to life. Lmfao
i know ... karen is the best
Dead from laughing.
A man with only estrogen and a woman with only testosterone.
😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
*Look at me, i'm funny lesbian, I'm Ellen!*
Every line in this scene is iconic.
Don't you mean 'Sister Louise'?😄
@Watchdog, especially every line said by Karen and Jack, as in "Karen & Jack," the title this series was supposed to have originally, AND during the reboot.
Lol😂😂😂
Except the one you quoted didn´t age well.
@@Wilbtube You mean Ellen is not a lesbian anymore? OH MY GOD
Man, the writing on this show was so good.
The writing on this show was excellent
💯 agree
Soooooo goooood!!!!!
“Ya riding on the back of a Harley with Angelina Jolie!”
Well, IS there anything better?
Those were the days... Angelina was WILD back then.
Now she's Mother Teresa.
Woman with great taste
This show was ahead of its time. Probably also influenced my generation to be more accepting towards LGBT
Cured my homophobia.❤
Bill: If you think this is some gay pick up joint, you can just leave
Kevin: leaves 1st, ballerina style 🤣 🤣
That was no "ballerina style". His arms were flailing as he ran out, as if someone yelled "Sale at Macy's!".
@@RaymondHng 😂😂😂
Never laughed so hard in my life...😂
@@naobe5 🤣🤣😂😂😅😅
I DON'T even know where to start with scene. That kiss, that "couple", Karen's captive audience hanging on every word wanting MORE, & that ending! This clip was so clever and witty ALL I could do was applaud and hope they won an Emmy just on this clip alone! 👏👏👏
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Karen impersonated Ellen better than Blair St. Claire did.
LOL
Yeah for real! You don’t need to turn the look. Just be funny
Clayton Krichinak THIS
OMG DHEKBSJSHSBSJS
Yasssss!!!!! That was terrible!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
NPH hasn't officially come out yet during that season. That's what makes this so much more fun, funny and subversive. And it's all in the writing and delivery.
Holy cow I had not known that.I thought he was always out but apparently he didn't come out until 2006
Rosie O'D did the exact same thing around the same time. She wasn't out though it was an open secret, and she played a closeted lesbian on W and G before formally coming out publicly soon afterwards
Oh i didn’t know that. I really wondered why in This version of the clip Neil Patrick Harris’ last line was cut out….
- where he - as a response to Jacks question about the two of them soaping one another down in the shows - say
“- AS LONG AS IT’S A HETEROSEXUAL SOAP DOWN” - revealing that his role really IS gay after all…
And remember Sean Hayes didn't come out until 2010 - after the first run of the show ended and after NPH come out.
I was about to say! I think this was when he was still just known as Doogie Howser. How wild!!
I always admired how Karen and Jack embraced the kissing - goodness how they managed it without falling about laughing was delightful. Also of course because they had such a close bond they could do and say the most outrageous things to each other - who can forget the number of times they slapped or spanked each other and the infamous denied/ approved card sequence.
"Denied, denied, approved."😏 That was iconic. 😂
They probably did break. How could they not? 🤣 Clever editing.
The failed attempts are on the blooper reel of this season, it's hilarious. 🤣
The legendary Neil Patrick Harris, what a gold episode 👏🏻
*Legendary*
What makes him "Legendary?
@@julieoluna8887 He plays Barney in 'How I met your Mother' and his character in that show always says "LEGEN... DARY". It's a running gag for the show.
@@saladman6434 Aaah... Thanks.
Will and Grace predicted so many closeted gay actors before they even they came out to the public: NPH, Ricky Martin, and Rosie O’Donnell .
NPH was in the closet here? Wow.
I was just wondering to myself if this was shot before Neil came out!
*O'Donnell
I think they were open to people around them, but not to the public
This was 1998 or 1999 NPH didn't come until 2006 to People Magazine. He was definitely perceived as 'straight' at the time.
The best line in my opinion is missing at the end of the scene in this clip! Neil Patrick Harris: "Well, as long as it's a heterosexual soap down."
I love how Megan and Sean just GO for it. They have no fear and are so hilarious
Jack, " up my leg to my home entertainment system". Great line 😊😊😊.
"Was that 2 men or 2 women?!" 😆😆😆😆
my favourite parts of each episode of W&G were always those where there were Jack & Karen together. of course Will and Grace were funny too, but the show would not be half as hilarious as it was if it wasnt for Hayes & Mullally
Yes! And you can tell that Will and Grace (the actors aren't naturally funny, unlike Jack and Karen.
If someone wanted to showcase the show's humor, this is the scene that I find best describes the heart and soul of Will & Grace and why it was one of the best sitcoms of the 90s.
Witty one-liners, physical comedy, great performances. I mean, every line in this scene is comedy gold.
To be fair, it's the 2000s
@@whatsup7535 no, the 2nd season of the original run of the show, was in 1999.
@@AlexCole09 I guess it's when it starts? I just think it's weird that they would call it the "LGBT prolific show of the late 1990's," when episode 10, of season two aired on January 11, 2000, last episode of season 8 aired on May 18, 2006, then reboot was in the 2010's.
Jack and Karen making out ahhh wow I love these two 😂😍😍😍😂
One of the best scenes ever in will and grace. Megan and Sean are comedy gold!!!
Home entertainment center 😁
😂
Now i have new vocabulary 😂😂😂
I still use that line hahaha
4:30 How I wish Rosario were listening to that standing right beside her😂😂😂
Ted: "Kids, did I tell you about that time your uncle barney was getting hit by jack from will and grace?"
“Take it out of the head voice!”
3:14 THAT SHOVE ON THE HEAD KILLED ME HAHAHA THAT'S SO CUTE!!! 😭 NEIL PATRICK HARRIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL
I love how "the greatest success story" left as well, with Kevin basically running out, arms flailing
Karen talking about....Rosario 😂😂😂
"Straight to my home entertainment centre" 😜 I love Jack
I'm Shocked & appalled
" but are you interested " 😂
Footsketball is the most Jack word to come out of his mouth. It’s probably something will would say too honestly
With excessive honesty?
"Just because they stop being gay, doesn't mean they had to stop having taste!" 😂😂😂
it's hard to pick a favorite w&g episode, but this has got to be one of them. i remember dying on this one 🤣
I love everything about this show, but Karen... oh she's the best!!! 😂😍
I’ve never understood why jack dresses like an old man, especially because he has a nice body. No young gay would dress like this.
Jack does.
The reason is because the director, James Burrows, felt it justified Jack’s sexual escapades. At the start of the second season, the creators dressed Jack in all Prada, but they felt it made him seem trashy. Burrows felt the sweater and shoes made him innocent and childlike. This justified who he was. This is from Warren Littlefield’s book, Top of the Rock which talks about the making of several NBC Shows.
Will and grace first aired in 1998. The fashion that time was much different than now. I'm guessing you weren't even around that time.
@@E.JayViera wow, that's amazing. I didn't know about it.
There was always fashionable clothes even back then. But Jacks wardrobe is awfully boring. For such an out queen his clothing never reflected him. It's called the preppy ivy league look. There are lesbians that also adapt this fashion style. Khakis, checked shirts and crew sweaters. I personally would never wear it.
I love how we all ignore the fact that the whole series Karen was hot as hell
Speak for yourself.
I haven’t seen this many closet cases since the GOP convention.
The men’s bathroom was very busy that day 😂
Oh sweety…. They are just dull….
I am Kevin and this is my wife Jodie 🤣 can't even imagine the laughter riot in the studio after this line
I use to have this on VHS...I recorded almost every episode...GOT ME THROUGH MY TEENS!!!
Jack and Karen are absolutely brilliant together, seriously why have they not got a show together ❤❤
When are we gonna learn about bras! That killed me
missed Bill's "as long as it's hetero soap down"
"Wow. That is just a beautiful thing to see." 😂
“Take it out of the head voice” 👏🏽
When the pink shirt guy left soooo fast I was just done XD
yeah, and with his hand raised LOLOLOL
Well, well, well. It's Karen Walker...I thought I smelled gin and regret.
this is just so extremely well written... i love it!
Honey was that two men or two women? Lmfao!!!! Karen didn’t give a damn.
My favorite line!
First, as if I ever needed to be reminded of the comedic gold that IS Neil Patrick Harris, I was thoroughly reminded. And I love the irony of an openly Gay actor portraying a "converted" gay to straight man.
Second, this clip also reminds me why this series was supposed to be called "Karen & Jack" the first time, and during the reboot, too.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jack and Karen. But if they had been the leads, it would have been too much.
@@greenbrown7776 I respectfully and wholeheartedly disagree.
Please understand, I know that both Debra Messing and Eric McCormack are very, VERY talented actors. However, the show really needed to be named "Karen and Jack." From the beginning!
Neil P.H. was not openly gay when he may this episode
@@bkynbiker19 Yes, that is correct.
Perhaps I mis-wrote. As someone who used to watch "Doogie Howser, M. D.," I knew that it was not until later when Neil Patrick Harris came out of the closet.
Nonetheless, the irony is there: THE Neil Patrick Harris, who was a guest star on a show that featured two openly Gay male characters (one of them portrayed by a Gay male actor), and was not exactly no longer Gay himself in the episode. And, eventually came out as Gay.
The intricacies and the comedy are so there.
@0:54 "Could you believe that we actually used to be gay?" 😂😂🤣
"You know, foot--skateball."
🤣🤣🤣
Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally have to be two of the funniest actors I've ever seen. I miss this show!
They cut off the final punchline
And ahh, when are we gonna learn about bra's? Lol
that was the best one
Like Karen wears them
@@biruss lol
“Well, that is just a beautiful thing to see.” 🤣🤣🤣
MY FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME!!!
Best scene Ever! Love Jack & Karen
Man I loved this show when it first started coming on in 1998 wow. Still watch reruns today.
The chemistry is insane
Finally a video available to view in my country.
Chopped scallions... 🤣🤣🤣
Defintsly Jack and Karen are the best ones on this Admirable sticom of "Will&Grace"😅😁😄🤣🙆♀️🇵🇹
Laughs...they are outstanding!
Best episode ever! That blonde lesbian interacting with Karen is hilarious.
Best ever!!!, hilarious these 2...😂😂😂😂
3:43 the half way leg cross from jack! The details goodness!
His manly laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was one of my favorite episodes it was hysterical 2 real gay men trying to be straight it makes me laugh I love it though!🤣😅😂🤣🤪😝😜😋😋
Neither one of them were out that time..... That's what makes it EXTRA funny!
Karen is adorable
Ground breaking episode. Humour with deeper meaning
The kiss !! 😅😅
Laughing at every second, thank you NBC!!!
Til this day!!! I think were all waiting for ‘Jack & Karen’ Spin-off show 🥰 from will and grace
Jack and Karen were the best part of this show
This scene always cracked me up!
Of course I have to watch this a couple times I can't stop laughing and there's more to the show! Before and after the scenes this is a riot I'm so glad I stumbled onto this old footage pretty wild hahaha
"My sssecret -- scallionsss"
Jack is the BEST!! So funny!
Early beginnings of the fall.
0:37 Kevin and Jody...Bless their hearts!
He went from loving chicks to being gay then marrying a old guys. Such a good actor
"Wanna watch the game" 🤣😅😆 he could have called it sports ball, as I do.
😂😂😂😂omg these two are the best
You cut off the best part where Bill caves!
"My home etertainment center"
😂
Awe, you missed the best part in the end. Bill: “Well, as long as its a heterosexual soap down”
This episode is a classic
Jajajajja amé éste capítulo! Una de mis series favoritas
Mi favorita parte es cuando Jack y Karen se besan 😂🤣👌💯
What a talent! Pure TALENT 🥰
This is Season 2 episode 22 not 20.
That ending and yes you are like Ellen.
Bill is so dreamy.
_🙊🧡_
I wished that Partner's and Good Morning Miami had enjoyed the same success as W&G. They were both gems, with top notch writing like this show.
The old lady played into Desperate Housewives and Charmed as a teacher.
Neil acts like the complete opposite of Barney in this. Weird.
No suit :( dressed like a geriatric
Jack is soooo cute and handsome and he got a great smile omg
So funny 😂😂
How did I NOT know my gay idol was on this show!?
i have mixed feeling about this. that's such a hard topic, but necessary to pick out. especially NPH last lines must have been ... hard for him to say, as an actual gay man
I think the point was to show how ridiculous stuff like "putting gay people back on the path of righteousness" is.
Its called acting
