How to fix Miele in 5 minutes W series washing machine no power no fault code Miele Softronic

How to repair Faulty Miele Softronic W3241 washing machine witch has no power, this is easy fix. Make sure power cord is unplugged from the socket. Open the door by pulling emergency door opening system located behind the front bottom flap . Once the door is opened, carefully remove metal spring bracket, then pull left part of rubber seal. Behind the door lock you will find the problem. Hanging cable connection is not connected any more to the door lock.
So, just plug it in and there you go. Power is back to the machine.
This is very common problem to most Miele washing machines.

Thank you for the tips. This worked also on the Miele W255 top mounted washing machine. It has been problematic on and off for a long time. This fixed it. The problem is that the switch disconnects from the lock because of wear and time.

Thanks a lot!! Well, handling the cables and the door lock were not as easy as on the show but no major difficulties were encountered. 15 minutes to repair without opening the top of the machine.
My machine was W3222. In France.

If you haven't already worked it out. Pull the orange loop tab behind the drain pump door. This will manually upen the lock. The tub must be empty of water for this to work though.

@@JeepnStu and to open up the drain pump door, he's got to use the yellow plastic Pin that is hidden on the inside of the detergent basket. ;-) Miele got some Adventure riddles to solve.

Miele washing machines and washer-dryers cost more in spite of other brands for nothing as even Miele always have problems and often very serious ones especially in the electronics which always has failures and burning problems of the electronic boards themselves. Their very high price is truly unjustified and unjustifiable! The electronic boards are not made in Germany and the spare parts cost almost as much as a new washing machine! Other less expensive brands work great and never have any problems of any kind! Furthermore, it must be added that the much vaunted honeycomb drum does not wash well at all, indeed if you make a comparison with the old Mieles that used the drum with holes, the latter wash much much better! The honeycomb drum was just a publicity stunt and nothing more!

A small fault like this is nothing in comparison to some machines that explode. The other thing is that the motors in these machines are superior to other brands, and Miele last a very long time. Buying a Miele is like buying a Mercedes, if you want other brands go and try them and see how long they last. Where do you assert that the boards are made, because according to their manufacturing information, none of the manufacturing or parts of their washing machines are outsourced to other countries.
