The M60 120S was just added in the newest patch. This is a M60 Hull with a Export M1A1 Turret attached to it via a adapter ring. It is a unique mix of old and new and I thought it had some potential. From my first batch of matches playing it... I quickly cooled off own my optimism. The gun is fantastic as you would expect but the lack of speed, acceleration, and maneuverability really hampered me. I am sure there are different technics and tactics that you can use to find quite a bit of success with this tank but my overall opinion of it is, it will make a great second, third spawn for folks 10.0 line up. That is the role that I will most likely be using it as.

Does round or square pizza taste better?
Square
round for sure
Square. With thin crust.
round is nice square is nice too
Pizza bagel
Ok who left the abrams and the m60 alone in the same room
It was a one-time fling. Why are you waving it over my head?
@@mr.abrams9885 cause we now have a dauchund with the head of a pitbull
Tucker did it
This tank is the most American 10.0 tank 😂😂
They had to much fun 😂
Me and my friends call this the "Babrams" baby abrams.
Me to
Babebraham
thats a great one
;)
I love Jim's laughter over looking at the Chaparral's seating setup
I can't get over how funny the Chaparral looks with the four Joes just hanging out side-by-side on the front like a theme park ride. That, combined with the relatively oversized chassis to carry a compact missile turret makes it look like a Fisher-Price toy. Baby's first missile carrier.
That thing was around from the late 60's till some time in the 80's, I believe. Why we never got a newer vehicle is beyond me. (Though given what happened with the Sgt. York, maybe it's better that we never tried? ) They should have just updated the Vigilante (T249?) and called it a day...
@@dphalanx7465 US Doctrine just doesn't have a need for mobile anti-air. Anti-air duties are to be handled by the overwhelming size of the US air arms.
The "Last Supper" joke took me out!🤣🤣🤣
@@julianturberfield7101 I will agree that *now* (late90s+), this is a true thing...but *then* (1950-1990), the Soviets _matched or exceeded_ our air numbers, and a first rate SPAA would have been handy. Again, I think resurrecting/updating the Vigilante project in the mid-late 70's would have done the trick.
The statement from Stick of "It's Jim..." sums up everything very precisely.
Jim is a treasure.
Absolutely!
i'm pretty sure the ford 150 has a higher kill count than the t72, which isn't a compliment to either vehicle
Isn't stopping me from getting one
@@C3peacewatch one of what, the ford or the T-72? ;)
@@n1thecaptain965 the ford
@@C3peacewatchwell, if you get your hands on a T-72, let us know. We're extremely interested. Ahem.
A Toyota Hilux has a higher kill count than both of them combined
My my my.......the Frankbrams is a true freak of nature. If only all tanks could freely mix and match their hulls........
*French Sherman/AMX line jumping up and down, waving their arms franticly...*
4:37 - Bo's "you're a Lada at best" comment about Jim's T-72 reminded me of an episode of the Simpsons in which Homer wrecks his car, and his mechanic (Junior) is going to tow it away. Homer requests that it be fixed with "quality GM parts", and his mechanic replies "your car was built in Croatia, it's made from old Soviet tanks." I got a good chuckle out of that.
Another great video, Bo!
I can never look at the Chaparral the same way again... Every time I play it I feel like I am going to hear the theme song to Cheers playing in my head. This video was absolutely incredible though! Jim is a national treasure.
Winsconsinovia and Milwaukeegrad LMAO! I love it
The "Panzer" tanks in "Patton" were M48s, they really didn't do all that much to hide the fact that they were, except for a quick German desert paint job, mostly because there were so many of them and they were expected back to report for duty as M48s in the active duty Spanish army. The American tanks in the film were a combination of M46/47s (with the muzzle breaks removed to make them look more "Shermanesque" and Walker Bulldogs (a light tank that was designed during the war, but didn't see action until Korea).
The problem with making any sort of WW II movie with practical effects is that there simply aren't enough tanks around from that era in working order to do massed armor shots. It would be *very* cool to see what Hollywood could do using cgi to re-create armored combat at battles like Kursk today. Unfortunately, finding a good script that someone would be willing to shoot would be the main issue.
I find it more amusing that they used a Dutch Leopard 1 in a Bridge Too Far.
The commission for a tank to replace them M24 wasn't set out until 1946, it's more they rushed production for the Korean war but entered service too late for that war.
Have you been to a Hollywood movie lately? Good scripts are not their priority.
It's not a problem. There was built a 1:1 replica of a Tiger for a russian 2012 movie "White Tiger". Granted it was more of sheet metal box that looked like a Tiger, but it got the most important part: it looked like a Tiger.
It ended up unused in the movie, because the director found it "not brutal enough" for the litirally a mythical tank from Hell, that the White Tiger was.
8:00 We Finns do indeed do that! :D It's usually a birch branch that we hit eachother with
With leaves.
Without leaves it's punishing method for supposed ill mannered or nightmare kids. Well it used to be...
alone side with, "dean" (Rovasti) coming to visit = belt
Oh yeah I should've mentioned the leaves. I just thought that was agiven
can we just talk about this absolute legend having an m22 in his top tier load out
The airbrake of the F105 reminds me of the face of the demigorgan from stranger things.
Kelly's Heroes is the best tank movie ever made. I know this because they sell it in the Tank Museum gift shop AND it was referenced in Girls und Panzer.
I'm impressed by how hard Jim stuck to the Wisconsnovia bit
8:00 its called "vihta" or "vasta" depending where you are from in Finland. its made out from fresh birch branches with leaves on it. during your time on sauna you soak the vihta in the water that you throw to the stones and yes you beat each other with it.
This thing's aesthetic reminds me of a Leman Russ from WH40K, especially from behind and especially with that skin. Great vid as always
As someone who had family who served on the M60A2 and A3, the 120S is something very special. I even have the manual for the both the M60A3 and 120S as well. Interesting reads
We have a Tiger E "at home" too! The local prop rental lot has one built on a T-54 hull and uses a functional (russian) 85mm gun, so it can even fire live shells, they even have a Hetzer too (its a custom bulit chassis that uses ASU parts but it only has a "water pipe" for a gun), but their half-trucks and wheeled vehicles are original WW2 stuff!
At least in "Fury" they used real WW2 tanks from collections and museums.
Man Jim is such a gem... Or should I say, Jem....
An abrams that skipped leg day is a surprisingly accurate description of the 120s
Loved the video. It was definitely entertaining to watch especially Jim's shenanigans.
Tanks developing into M4 shapes is the American armor equivalent of carcinization. You call it a bastard, I call it natural selection.
Yet another thing I was hoping would be better in this update to compliment my 10.3 line up but oh well. Great video Bo! Also nice job on the thumbnail!
I love it when Jim does characters!
Attempt number 1102: Please try out the Stridsvagn M/42 Delat Torn.
(Labelled as the Strv. M/42 DT in the Swedish Tech Tree.)
Please Bo, give this man some rest. He's earned it.
I love Jim think of all these crazy thing on the spot. Always hilarious!
Great video Bo!
As a fellow Wisconsinite I have to say .... "Good job Jim."
Was this the video that finally broke Jim? He's been stuck in that T-72B for too long
2:30. I was also watching the Russian film tanker and I thought they were using real panzer 4 h tanks only to look closer and see it was what looked like t 34s with the most real looking panzer 4 turrets I've ever seen.
Great video. I don't know what to think of this tank but the camo looks great
That was so funny when Jim said if you got enough of those vehicles together you could do the last supper!!!! Im from Texas also Bo
Got to love there Frankenstein tank abomination xd what a funny episode on the adventures of bo and there gang ps. Would we pls get some Aussie tank action? Keep up the great videos bo
I love the look of this thing
Great video Bo and team!
I keep forgetting Jim is from Wisconsin and that makes me happy
Happy Birthday, Bo!
Abrams, but on a budget
An M60 takes an Abrams home, and they have unprotected engineering. 9 months later, this Tankenstein's monster is born.
Love the m22 in the line up
"No sweetie, we have Abrahams at home." Pure comedy!
Love Jim being Jim.❤😂
I love how any video with Jim in it is 90% Jimrants.
Jim's comedy is too good. The Wisconsnovia bit was great and he knows what buttons to push
Listening to Jim try to Russify everything from Milwaukee was one of the best things Ive heard in a while.
what alternate universe is Jim living in with Milwaukeegrad, Wisconovia lol. Great video Bo, Jim and Stick!
Bo: "Youbsaid that wrong just so I would get triggered and say something!"
Jim: "You bet your sweet bippy I did~"
What a way to start Monday🎉
Be nice to Jim. He's a trucker. Having been a trucker for 28 years, I can promise it is not the best thing for ones mental stability nor state of mental health.
Just humor him. Nod and smile a lot. Soothing noises may be helpful.
If he becomes truly unhinged, try an audio book. Works for me every time.
hogans heros tiger that was a M7 self-propelled howitzer
Man jum need a medal for his performance 😂loke the ending got me laughing 😂😂
Omg the last supper hahaha Kinda reminds me of a hotdog eating contest
Whats funny about the rear aimi.g of the abrams is it actually can aim down over the engine deck gaijin for some reason seems to not want it to
7:23 the point is actively being capped Bo; "is the target down or still up?"
120s looks perfect example of movie prop Abrams.
LMAO Jim was the star of THIS viddy 4-sho.. keep on rockin' boyz..
Great Video
They kitbashed two armored fighting vehicles together like a model kit. It looks oddly handsome, though.
"Hey look at that guy he's got a pony car but it's a V6, ayyy"
I appreciate Jim for that comment but then immediately resented him for calling the T-72 the "F-150" of tanks. How dare he.
xD
your rockets did not let the leopard live
The m60 cries out “let me die”
The turks and Americans: Never
Sadly on the American side they were retired in all roles including training by around 2005. Still a very respectable service record.
Turks love the American M60 and will never let them go lmao
Man, Jim is a National Treasure! Protect that Man at all Cost!
abrams from temu
this thing is so cursed looking. I love it
Jim is a Gem :)
It kinda reminds me of Major Rodeschild from Seek and Destroy
"No sweety, we have Abrams at home" 🤣🤣🤣
When your vehicle becomes a IE and takes the enemy out 😂
Jim, Jim, Jim... Whatever would we do without you🤣
Jim is a treasure, anda mennace.
Bo's Abrahams with the green & purple color scheme makes me think Transformers....
Free Range tank - Jim is killing it
Hey Bo, I'm up to the M109 Howitzer tank in war thunder!
Fricking FINALLY!!!!! It feels like I'm CRAWLING my way through the tech tree at a snails pace for heavens sake!!!! 😒
Well I guess I now have my attention permanently drawn to any tiger tanks in movies to see if it’s real/if the replica is completely accurate in look
You all were talking about different tanks that were weird in movies but have you seen the White Tiger’s version of the Tiger 1
I'm surprised this is tech tree. I thought Gaijin usually relegated the single prototype stuff to being premiums.
Keep up the good work, Bo & Co!
is this thing what the stream system was talking when it came out with the Abeephms?
Its very annoying that they didn't give this thing the upgraded engine it was suppose to get if anyone actually bought into it.
Ya know it'd be super ironic if Jim had been assigned to a Chaparral. Feels like his luck.
Hi Bo!
lets GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the square pizza has cheese, circle is better, but if it's party pizza without cheese, square is better.
The funny thing is Bo, that reverse gear probably saved you.
As someone from wisconsin, the history lesson isn't too far off LOL
Jim gave me the hiccups but Stick was calm? Is Stick not feeling well? LOL
It is funny. Jim is a treasure
It’s like the Kelly’s hero’s tiger
22:55 being from the town and mentioned I loved it. Thank you so much. That was such a great laugh.
I think they call that tank the M-60A5! I like to see the M60-A3 against the newer tanks(Modern)?
Someday I’d like to see Cobey play a game with Jim to see what would happen
This is the crew I wish I had.
You would think with all those upgrades they would put a better engine in it.
"Those four dudes look like they're sitting at a bar waiting for their order."
"You know, you get enough of those vehicles together you can technically do the Last Supper."
😆😆😆
Jim knows how to push bo’s buttons 😂
Mom i want an abrams!
But son, we have abrams at home!
Then this monstrosity was invented.
The mom was contracted to develop them for the military directly after that interaction.
Bo unironically invented War Thunder Suicide Bombing with cheap AA spawn
So Wish is really good if you need shoes in an odd size
Hey bo could you do a alpha jet vid because that would be cool
