This is why I love Pikmin. It may not be nominated for game of the year, but Pikmin 4 was that game for me.

They are so adorable! It would be so fun to scale a Christmas tree in Pikmin, could crawl through the center and across branches, carry away some ornaments. So many fun idea's, I love the lil guys so much

The Pikmin are soooo cute in this! Nintendo finally gives so much love to this series.
We really don't deserve Pikmin. They're too precious. Their shenanigans always give me joy.
I loved Pikmin 4 so much. This reminds me of the Christmas DLC level from 3. Can we please have more DLC for 4? 🥺
They didn't have challenge maps in 4 (In the traditional sense), but I hope they add it back, or give us more dandori challenges
You know I tried Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 3 and I really couldn't get into it and never understood the obsession with these games, until I played Pikmin 4 which was an absolute delight. I probably 100% completed at game more than once because it was such a chilled exploration adventure. I actually enjoy it more than the latest animal crossing.
For anyone that didn't like Pikmin or hasn't given it a shot, definitely pick up this game. If it ever goes on a major sale for Black Friday, it's definitely worth it.

ive never played Pikmin (excpet bloom ig) but seeing Nintendo make the big 4 into the big 5 makes me really happy for you Pikmin fans because i know you've been starved of content for so long
This just reiterates to me that Pikmin 4 needs some holiday themed levels. Pikmin 3 had such a standout couch co-op, 4 dropped the ball there. We need more updates to multiplayer for Pikmin 4, stat!

Kinda funny, that we see a yellow Pikmin conduct electricty between two loose cables like that, considering that they could only do that in Pikmin 3, but not Pikmin 4.

pikmins watching: i have to admit that movie is really scary
I have never played any of the Pikmin games, but I like the fact that the fourth installment doesn't have a timer via a set number of days required to explore areas and find spaceship parts. The whole "Day/Night" also looks interesting and kind of reminds me of Breath of the Wild in that the enemies and dangers increase.

Pikmin, in my opinion, might be a better mascot than Mario. Mario sales are definitely deserved and I understand why he is more popular, but little slice of life video with Pikmin have so much charm and ooze the ethos of Nintendo as a company.
