The fact that he will be going to meet the Lakers gives us a slight insight that he has been considering this intriguing offer.
lol PJ seems to be forgetting how many times the Lakers job has been open lately.
LETS GO LAKERS little buddy 💜💛💜💛
@@BabylonGateLA You might get a great coach but do Lakers fans have patience for him to build the team he wants and understand success is not going to be immediate. That is the ? coach is going to have to decide. Reality he has only 1 more championship than Ollie.
Dan would slay if he goes or not. But, I think wrong timing and wrong place for Dan Hurley. If this was 3-5 years from now, or a Boston/New York team, he take a shot now. But NBA head coach jobs will be available to him later as he’s already already figured out the cheat code at UConn and dominating college basketball landscape and he’s only 51. , I think people want what they can’t have an NBA owners will seek him out down the road when timing is better all around for him and his family. Plus, he’s got a chance to do something that hasn’t been done since the late 60s with John wooden with 3-Peat.
slay? Seriously? What are you 12?
He’s a typical east coast guy - cocky, brash, high strung. I’m not sure that works on the west coast. He’s a bring your lunch pail guy and he’s definitely more suited for a team in the northeast.
I remember Andrew Gaze and Seton Hall playing Michigan for the natty like it was yesterday. Glen Rice went off. Glad to see Coach still pushing…💯
Yeah he’s the perfect guy to let Hurley know how not to be a prick to grown men. Sprewell choked out that overseer mentality even though he got blackballed over it.
Facts 🤣
True story
Spre went after a teammate with a 2x4 two years before that, and had fights with another in 93. Broke his hand in a fight in 02. Spre had a short fuse, not a social conscience.
@HamptonGuitars I know Latrel. He is truly that pitbull running loose in your neighborhood and you need to run out and grab up your kids cuz he will bite. Lol
Simple Straigh Facts!!!
Great Job PJ!!!!!!!!
San Antonio Spurs (Pop will retire soon) is the best place for him, if he WANTS to move on to the NBA. UConn is his best option right now, and he's probably just using the Lakers interview to negotiate for a better deal for him and his assistants.
He just got a contract extension with UConn
Poo ain't retiring next 5 years. He just sign extend his contract.
The West is going to be crazy next season. Ja Morant and the Grizzlies are going to be healthy, OKC, DENVER, MINNESOTA, HOUSTON will be even better, NEW ORLEANS.... and so on.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE IS FAMILY.
How could you not take the job
100 million
Biggest brand in basketball and one of the biggest brands in the world and his brand will become iconic if it works out . If it doesn’t work out he goes back to any college he wants
However as a pure basketball job it’s awful right now- lebron is about to be done. AD isn’t someone you can rely on, the west is awesome so if he doesn’t get big free agents he’s fired in a few years
The Lakers or UConn not too bad...you've gone good for yourself Mr. Hurley. I wouldn't want to coach LeBron especially if they draft his boy. Pretty obvious LJ pushed the last 2 guys out. But the Lakers have rotated coaches like crazy over the past decade+ Even pre LJ. No one has lasted longer than 2 seasons since Phil Jackson left in 2011. Someone else mentioned here 7 different coaches. Despite the crazy NIL/transfer portal he does great at UConn. Coaching young athletes is still a pretty cool deal.
"Perfect guy", lol.
What did he say... Don't get choked out? hahahaha
"The Lakers job doesn't come up very often." Haven't the Lakers blew through 7 coaches in the last 11 years, or something like that? I guess if Hurley wants a quick guaranteed payout from LA, then maybe back to college to start over yet again, sure, but does his wife want that? Does she want to bounce in and out of LA and then end up at yet another college? She wasn't interested in going even as far as Kentucky just 2 months ago
Right now I think IF the jobs were open Chicago and Detroit would be a better destination for Hurley or any other first time NBA head coach.
I thought they hired Reddick.
I hope he likes going from college basketball premier Coach to LeBron James assistant coach
Damn… PJ is almost unrecognizable… damn
He's cocky enough to take the job and money 4sure lol
If hurley doesn't go to the Lakers I think that means he's holding out for an east coast NBA job
Uconn running a $port$ franchise with a college gig on the side. Rediculous
If Lebron stays, Dan Hurley will be his 11th coach fired for his GOAT case.
Your job will always be available every two years.. I don’t know what PJ is talking about lol the turnaround is horrible. If they sign Danny, he will be gone in two years.
Plus he’s the coach to ruin the Confidence of Danny at Seton Hall and he had to leave the team. This guy has no class whatsoever.
I cannot see Hurley taking this job. I just can’t.
Pj sucked in the pros and he hates the lakers , I don’t even have to watch the video to know what he’s gonna say…,
Screamers have short NBA lives with mediocre records.
I can’t even listen to this guy. His raspy voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard bro 😭
Sprewell did that to him lol
This life is temporary and but a blip on the screen of eternity. Whereas Jesus Christ is coming soon for his believers. Wake up! Acknowledge your creator Jesus Christ and spend eternity in heaven.
🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
IS THIS THE DUDE THAT GOT CHOKED OUT BY SPREWELL!?!
Yup!
You got it😊
lol. You can hear it in his vocal cords
Tgeyll Be Far Better Off Than Tgey Were Previously!!!!!!
Danny should not go to the Lakers until Leflop is gone.
Leflop could poison his coaching position.
There are other teams or just wait until Leflop leaves.
Simple
Exactly, too many bosses at LAL. At UConn, he has an AD who stays out of his way.
Bron is on the way out. Jeannie will not fire Hurley at a 5y $80m contract. She's ride Bron for a couple of years and then move on.
I think the elephant in the room that no one is even looking at is Brony. He had a heartache. That's not a long-term guy. His health won't allow it, unfortunately.
@antayat123 Dude, his health is fine.
@@Flush0000 you keep telling yourself that.
Spoken like a u conn homer
I hope the Lakers get him
I’m a lakers fan and I also live in Connecticut and I love UConn Athletics But there’s no way I would take the LA job, Lebron is running the show AD is often injured. Darvin Hamm was a good choice as Head Coach and look how it ended FIRED after two seasons. It’s not the coaching it’s the roster imo!
@@BkD76-g3kG T F O, you’re not a Lakers fan! You must be a bandwagon who only roots for us when we are good 😂😂😂
@@BabylonGateLAyou ain’t making any since! I’ve been a laker fan before you were born! Who wants to watch this ish it ain’t been good since we lost the mamba
@@BkD76-g3k darvin ham was not a good choice, he was mediocre and not even HS Level
As someone who was born in L.A. then moved to CT and went to UConn and being a Lakers fan since 98’ this would be an Excellent move Smithers!😂
He ain't going!!
Stay at UConn it’s a no brainer
Yeah missing out on a 70 million dollar pay day is no brainer
@@ParallelNewsNetwork Dude makes more than $5 mil a season now and will probably be higher if he takes UCONN offer to stay the Lakers job ain't worth the headache
@@I.am_Groot Exactly right.
