just got the action5 pro and stick to it. newest firmware update yesterday made it so much better at night plus we finally get 115mbit instead of 60mbit. fantastic videos

I was really hoping to see a fully articulated 360-degree flip-screen, and the lack of 10-bit support feels like a missed opportunity, it’s 2024, after all! I’d also prefer 4K at 60fps over 8K at 30fps. Most people stick to 4K, and 8K just eats up too much storage without offering a huge quality improvement. Plus, the color balance in 8K seems a bit off. I think I’ll wait for next year’s model, but your review made the decision a lot clearer!
Trying to decide which of the the new action cameras will replace my GoPro 10. I lean towards to GP13, because I more familiar with the tech, but I look forward to learning more about the Ace Pro 2 before I make up my mind. We shoot family travel vlogs at 60fps.
I ordered the ace pro2, but I also have the new osmo a5p. Other than a few differences, they are very similar. I do like the "pause" feature in the ace pro lineup. Thanks for the review!

The B/T sounds rather pooh pee! Curious if it sounds better with "plug". Another thought is to record with LAV into a separate recorder than sync??? Based on what you've outlined. Hell yeah! I actually found that your footage from Ace Pro (the original) looked better than that of Ace Pro 2

It does not. Only DJI supports that currently.
