Great show and you can always due more. I have a Bluetti battery backup to run the refrigerator for days. G90 with battery to play on bands. J-pole and 2 meters. Worse we have had is no power for a day or so. Oh yeah, FT-857 in the car. Think about where you work as we spend 80% of our days at the office, even with hybrid work. I keep a Baofeng at work. Cheap and I am not worried about it getting stolen. So now you need to be prepared at home and at work. Thanks 73 Bill KG4FXG.
The cheapest radio on Amazon (Baofeng uv5-r) is truly a good radio though. I absolutely love them and I have no worries about them breaking if dropped mainly because they don’t.

Great show. TO and JEEM add 10 DB to the fun. I have many HT's ., MURS/GMRS/FRS/CB/HAM and most 2 of each type. I need to talk to my girlfriend. I can see some on buying 1 each of the radio types. Then you give a radio to a love one then you realize you can't talk to them. hear in NY ,USA during Covid , many stores was card only . no cash. We has a money and coin shortage. This would be bad if system went down. When a store took cash is was exact change only. I spent months trying to figure out where the coins went. The Toilet paper shortage was crazy ! Maybe that is what all the coins went. 73

Yappy yappy yappety yap yap yap. An hour to tell us how to be ready in an emergency. Good information. Covered well. I can deploy my portable station in a matter of minutes, or be using my home base station on backup mains power in a matter of seconds. All of us ham radio operators need to be prepared for emergency situations, should they arise.
