Potlatch Symphony 2020

Returning to a landmark project from 2013, Potlatch Symphony 2020 unites the Seattle Symphony and Puget Sound's Indigenous artists together in an exchange that celebrates this region’s land and ancestral history. On April 19, 2024, the Seattle Symphony premiered this masterpiece at a free Community Concert at Benaroya Hall, showcasing the transformative power of healing through music and collaboration. As the Seattle Symphony's relationship with Indigenous artists and tribes continues to grow, we eagerly anticipate future projects to carry this work forward.

I have really been enjoying the "Masterworks Series" these past few years. Lots of Mahler and I am all in for it! The most recent, Mahler 5, was absolutely phenomenal! Seeing Bach's St. John's Passion was such a treat to be able to see in person. Keep up the great work!!
