Saitama literally had picked up hyperspace, moved through it like nothing's ever happened, and also trained his mental resistance along with his physical training. Along with that he's punched through an imaginary space (Pheonix Man's dream space), all before he's shown getting his growth against Garou, who was also flooded with the knowledge of the universe (and people seem to think he's controlled by God but he's only monitored by him really). Saitama sneezes away the domain just like the top comment says
He picked up a physical part of a hyperspace portal which Garou had made. If it was an actual hyperspace dimension, he couldn’t 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 lift the whole thing because he is still a HUMAN, and that hyperspace dimension has no mass of weight to take lift of, so Saitama couldn’t lift it at all because there is no handle of sort to lift it.

He would easily be able to gag himself out of a domain expansion. And hollow purple does does destroy meter on an atomic level, but Atomic Samurai who can cut things on an atomic level scales MONSTROUSLY below Saitama in almost EVERY METRIC.

By Saitama’s innate ability to ignore physical laws, such as that one time when he punched a hole into a different physical dimension completely on accident, and that time where he grabbed hyperspace really casually, i would say he’s capable of literally grabbing the infinity barrier and just… yeeting it away.
Like legit, it doesn’t make sense, but that’s half the point when you can break physical laws.
So the barrier is gone, but what if Gojo uses DE? No idea honestly, that debate is a little up in the air. There are only a few facts for either side: Gojo’s DE consists of literally INFINITE information, so the only way to counter it without a DE of your own is to have immunity to mental attacks.
Now, can we argue if Saitama has immunity and NOT resistance? I have no clue, however i am not a complete expert on this stuff so take it with a grain of salt, but i do not believe Saitama has yet been shown to have mental immunity, but rather an insanely high mental resistance.
When Tatsumaki tried to pick him up with her power, she said it felt like a boulder, and knowing she could possibly crush half the planet at full power it must mean his mental resistance is ridiculously high, but that’s the issue, it is mental resistance, and NOT mental immunity.
With all of this said, i think that in this fight it depends on who could get the finishing blow off first, Saitama is undoubtedly faster than Gojo both in speed and reaction time, but Gojo might still be able to get his DE off and erase Saitama with HP. This, of course is assuming both are taking the fight seriously from the start, and we know neither of them will. I think it is due to that fact that Gojo has a slightly better chance of winning because he’s not an average intelligence idiot like Saitama and would be able to spot the serious threat he is sooner than Saitama would and therefore win.

As shown in the fight with god garou saitama can scale exponentially with the threat he is fighting, essentially “enemy power +1” so with that in mind (and considering that he scales with the first attack given because he scaled power even before god garou, it was just more noticeable within that fight) he would adapt to DE and just punch a hole through it, and the same thing would happen with the infinite knowledge, knowing saitama he could just adapt to that too, and effectively ignore it for all we know

Saitama has toon force, things don't work against him (inside his little anime), but outside there is no script that allows Saitama to do whatever he wants, so it's a very plausible result.

I actually think Gojo is one person who would fight Saitama to a draw. He is nowhere as strong as Saitama, but the way Gojo’s ability works pretty much means he is impossible to defeat physically(just brute force). Sadly brute force is all Saitama has in terms of attack
