I used to sneak into the Garden in the 80s. Bought my ticket for closing ceremony though. I also snuck in the week after it closed for souvenirs. There were two security guards for the whole place. One was always down on the court. I was there for most of the night paying respect. Still miss the place.
I'm 35 years old and been to the garden once at a very young age to see a circus. I don't really remember much of it . So many times I say I wish I was born back in the day . Times back then just seem to be more traditional and laid back with people that you can easily talk to. Seems like everyone is in a rush to get life over and done with nowadays.
36 Y/o now. I used to goto the wrestling matches with my grandmother and also the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus I remember the ramps leading out and the place always being hot and sweaty...... Always felt 90 degrees in there by the time you were leaving.
Can someone tell me the name of the background music from 0:00-1:00 and 3:24-5:03. They're both awesome and I've heard them before in various commercials and promos.
The old hockey barn had a unique aroma. It was the combination of cigar smoke, urine and vomit. I miss the old Boston Garden.
