We have been tempted to visit Balkan states for a long time, and therefore at the end of May we traveled one month around Montenegro. This country becames more and more popular each year and it definitely worth to visit. Its a land of beauty which enchats you with big mountains, deepest canyons, crystal clear riviers, historical cities and beautiful beaches. We visited lake Piva, national park Durmitor, deepest canyon in Europe called Tara (we also tested superfast zipline, which was awesome), national park Prokletije, Skadar lake, river Črnojevica, beatiful city of Budva and Kotor and we wildcamp above Kotor bay. Už dlho nás lákalo navštíviť balkánske krajiny, a preto sme sa aj koncom mája vybrali na mesačný trip po prekrásnej Čiernej Hore. Táto krajina sa stáva čím ďalej viac a viac populárnou a niet sa tomu prečo diviť. Je to nádherná krajina ktorá vás očarí obrovskými horami, najhlbšími kaňonmi, kryštálovo čistými riekami, historickými mestečkami a krásnymi plážami. Navštivili sme jazero Piva, národný park Durmitor, najhlbší kaňon európy Tara (kde sme sa aj spustili na extrémne rýchlej zipline), národný park Prokletije, Skadarské jazero, rieku Črnojevica, krásne mestečko Budva, Kotor a stanovali sme nad Bokou Kotorskou. Crna Gora ili kako je zovu Montenegro Montenegrino nije mnogo bajkovita i.glavni grad koji.se ne moze nazvati.evropskom prestonicom.Zemlja visokih planina i brdovita ruralnih sela u planinama drugacije tradicije nosnje govornog podrucja. nerazvijena i siromasna u.ruralnim selima..stocara i pravljenja kacamaka osnovne hrane i tradicije bez koje ne mogu ali i gosta namernika da ugoste kacamakom i sirom. retko. prsutom i vinom lozom.Jos uvek na tronoscu zemljanih podova gasa i lampi .ponjava .Kada se sidje sa visokih crnogirskih planina na more opet razlika izmedju njih samih. mentalitet isti brdski. Podgorica ni blizu ni velicina evropska.prestonica kojom bi se mogla nazvatti.Mnogo izmesanog dosljaka Drac Albanija .Bar me podseca kao da sam usla u Albaniju ne u Crnu Goru. Nerazvijena u svakom pogledu sa dosljacima iz Albanije u Baru i siroj morskoj obali. Ta nekadasnja republika sve vise zaostaje.za evropskim gradovima.

My family is from Montenegro and Bosna. I can see how and why my parents were so much healthier , they lived with fresh air and fresh food and nature! I am 23 and I yet never left america to go see my motherland 😅😔.

Thank you, but this is not my country. We have only traveled around Montenegro and we live in Slovakia, if you check some other of my videos which have Slovakia in title, you will notice that our country is beautiful as well :)
on the other hand, our dream is to visit US national parks :)

@@HikeTheWorld There are a lot of great parks here in the US. There is something special about the Mediterranean and Baltic area that just makes me smile when I watch the videos. I took a DNA test and after growing up thinking I was mostly German. The test came back and said I was 60 percent eastern European. Wonder if my soul wants to return to its home land lol! My wife seems to think it will be dangerous for us to travel there since we are American and not liked so much by some people. What do you think? I believe there are good people everywhere 😊
You don't have to worry to travel to eastern europe, I am sure you will be fine and you are not the first american there :). As you ar 60% eastern europe, maybe you are partially from Slovakia :D:D

Of course it is safe, why wouldn't be ? I am from Slovakia, but basically all of Europe is safe to visit. We spent 3 weeks in Montenegro and I did not find any reason why to feel unsafe.

Hard to visit every beautiful place in Montenegro, and we find out about Bar only when we came back. And never heard of the oldest tree in Europe :)

Hike the World Actually they speak Serbian language.
The same language serbs , and Croats speak . It’s just meshed up of both the dialects together . However I usually just say Montenegrin lol .
We speak Montenegrian, Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian 😊
