- "Obesity is a disease" sounds like; "Hey I am fat, but it is not my fault." The same goes with laziness; the last person to blame is always oneself.
Laziness was mentioned in the Bible numerous times, there is no doubt that it is a sin. Despite of our sinful nature, God still love us and He is willingly to take us as His bride. We are all destine to die and the only way for salvation is through Jesus.
So stop pointing fingers and repent.
The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak...oh God please help us to be strong in you😥😥

It is not laziness but simply the devil's tactics to stop believers from spending time with the LORD. I often plan to spend my evening in prayer but before i know it, i will be listening to world music and switching from one tv channel to the next. Before long, i am fast asleep. On and on it goes. I pray my routine will change. It is easy to spend 8 hours at work, sitting still and concentrating but never an hour with the LORD. Help me dear LORD.

I was raised by atheist parents, and remained an atheist for much of my life. More than this, I was a vitriolic anti-Theist and hateful opponent of the faith. It is in His infinite wisdom that He has used such a sinner as myself to proclaim the Gospel to unbelievers who, in their spiritual wickedness, suppress the Truth within themselves, for they are lovers of self and insolent towards God.

I pray that God may use this to bring those He foreknew into repentance, so that they may have abundant life through Jesus Christ; indeed, a relationship with the living God. The power and glory are His forever. Amen.

I felt like I had been “lazy” & I hate it, I’m still working through this, but God heals. Imbalanced brain chemistry caused depression . & I became stuck & unmotivated.

Check your health if you’re “lazy” & read Gods promises. The enemy is a THEIF . We are more than conquerors through him who loved us. We go from glory to glory in HIS Strength.
I don't know if you are still going through this, but I pray that God will heal and comfort you in your depression, and that you will be able to get past laziness. I know I still struggle with being lazy and unproductive, especially when I don't have anything important to do like school, and I can also become really guilty when I make mistakes, a bit pessimistic when I thought I was optimistic.
In this case pray for me to, that I will also get past being lazy, and that God may grant me courage when I make a mistake or sin so I can admit it, and comfort for my guilt.

Mental illness knows no bonds you just hope that your stronger than it and keep it pushing and when you get in a better financial situation you start looking for things like therapy

I use to think that until I met a lot of people in poor countries who were really depressed but I mean severely depressed that it was so hard for them to work, some go suicidal. Maybe it helps but that’s not always the case. My great great grandpa hung himself and he was a hard worker in Mexico. Please educate yourself before you all go around trying to shame people and trying to “fix “ them by saying “just work and you’ll then be fine” only Jesus can heal a person. Have compassion for them. I suggest looking this up too. I saw a documentary a while back of people who live on an island and work very hard. I thought they would be living stress free since they eat very healthy and work a lot but turns out depression and mental disorders is very common among them.

It took a long time for me to realize that laziness is a sin. Lazyness is my biggest sin. I did not know it was a sin, so the Lord showed it to me. I had a big slept of lazyness, I felt asleep very fast and immediately had sleep paralysis with a HUGE entity in my back, gluing me to my bed, with its "arms" (?) attaching me painfully. Since I try to fight against it in Jesus'name and I saw quick improvements when I thought it was impossible. Thank you Jesus !

This was my biggest problem. laziness. I love to sleep even at noon then in the evening I cannot sleep early so I woke up late. I miss my devotion and communication with God. But I still keep praying and asking him to wake me up early so that I could do his will. God exist therefore everything is possible. 💜

My anxiety and depression always make me so tired and unable to do anything, even pray. I also struggle with lots of issues and I don't have faith. Please save me Jesus. If you're real please save me.
Jesus is real but he is not God. He is a Prophet and the Messiah. Neither part of any trinity not the son of God. A Prophet and a Messiah. Do not pray to him, pray only to God who has no son nor partner of any kind. Ask the one and only God to heal you. Jesus only prayed to God, just like the rest of the Prophets did and instructed their followers to do. When you ask God alone, i.e directly through no middle man, then prayers get answered

If Jesus was a prophet and prophets don’t lie, then why would he make such a bold proclamation? Jesus in Hebrew is Yeshua which translates to salvation. There is only way to God the Father and that is through Jesus. I was an atheist and Jesus saved me from attempted suicide and has helped me with anxiety and depression. When I have either, I pray and read my Bible. I highly recommend reading your Bible and connecting with Him. Don’t be discouraged, know that as your faith grows and you come to know Jesus more, His healing will take place and you will see how great His love is for you. You’re valuable to Him and you’re loved more than you know by someone who died for your sins so you could have a relationship with your Father. Keep pressing forward and start small. Even one small Bible passage a day in the Holy Bible app will help you. Just don’t give up, I’ve seen Him do miraculous things in my life, things I never used to believe possible and I know He can do miraculous things in yours too. I’ll be praying for you. The real bible was in aramaic, a language that pastors today do not speak nor understand, rather they are relying on the translation off a translation that has been altered, including an invented theology about the Prophet Jesus. 3. No Prophet knew about God having a son or any partner. Had the trinity been from God then Abraham, Moses, Jacob and the rest of the Prophets would have taught people about it rather than over and over again only mentioning the one and only God i.e "the father" in the modern-day christian polytheistic concept of God. 4. God does not change. He does not go from being the one God of Abraham to being a 3-entity God of whom one is a son sent to be a human to save people as if the all-mighty God needs to become human to save people. This false belief is completely against the God described in the old testament. 5. Your experience is not in any way unique, there are buddhists who claim to have been healed through buddhism, atheists claiming science is what healed them, jews claiming judaism and so on. Jesus has no power to heal anymore. God gave him that power while he was a Prophet on earth, just like other Prophets were given certain "powers" yet it all came from God.

Even in times that we struggle to read the word, it doesn't look like what's in this video. I'm having that type of season and suffering with intense thyroid issues hence feeling depressed and fatigued, I chatted with God and he's like it's okay my darling, just be still before me, I understand what you mean even if you don't have the words to say. So I think it's quite judgmental to act like what's in the video is a lazy spiritual issues.
I'm laughing at the animation in the beginning because I'm also super lazy, it's like I'm laughing at myself, and make me say how this related to Christian character, untilled i get the point.
And the last part of the story makes me cry so much. Such a great love.

I am a Christian and have also struggled with depression. Being a Christian does not make you immune to depression. Even the apostles struggled: "For we do not want you to be unaware, brothers, of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again." (II Corinthians 1:8-10) Christ gives us hope even in the midst of depression, but that doesn't mean we don't struggle at times. Often times we can get caught up blaming ourselves for being "lazy" or not having enough faith in God, etc, but this is more harmful than helpful. If we are in Christ then all our sins are atoned for by his death and resurrection and God loves us as his children. God is not looking at us to judge us for every mistake we make or every time we did not do something as well as we should have; he looks at us and sees his children whom he loves. He might discipline us as a father disciplines his son to teach his son proper character, but he does not judge us and punish us as our sins deserve. In Christ our sins are forgiven, and so we are not under law but under grace. If we are under God's grace, then he is gracious to us even in our depression and that can give us hope. Also don't be afraid to get help or talk to someone. Some forms of depression are spiritual, but some can be from physical aspects like not getting enough sleep, or not getting enough of an essential vitamin, etc.
I realize your comment is 9 months old, so I hope you are doing better now, but even if you are not (since I know that depression can be a long and drawn out battle) know that there are people who care about you and are praying for you. I am praying for you and Jesus himself also prays for us. (see Romans 8:34 and Hebrews 7:25)
I pray that the Lord Jesus will lead me to the broken hearts and those who need to know the Christ that they will see the Christ through my behavings ( the way that i think, speak, and act). I pray that the fruits of the Holy Spirit will appear in every moment of my life that the people will notice that and give Glory to God the Father❇ In the most beautiful name "Jesus" I ask and pray Amen.

Through Christ buddy, your gonna get the strength of the Holy Spirit. I was once in that shoe's, the devil almost shut me down from praying. And the funny thing about it is that, when you wanna pray something that you think is much important rises up. And you can't help it, you just gonna quit the prayers. But I need to tell you something the more you move away from prayers the harder its gonna be to get back. So you just need the strength of the Holy Spirit that's part of his gifts if his in you. The woman herself wasn't lazy just because she was dying, she could have said "Why would I get married? Why care? Why love? I'm going to die anyway." It would have been easy for her to give up, but she came to the man she loved and asked him herself if he would marry her, despite her condition. All of the pain and inevitable end, everyone knew would come. She kept on and lived the happiest moments in her life with something and someone she didn't give up on. Love.
i can relate on this.. i need prayers please pray for me to Lord Jesus Christ to help me.. i struggle with laziness. i try to do stuff, but get distracted or be in bed very long... this video just randomly popped up. it's a message from God.. Lately, I'm becoming lazy of reading the bible or even talk to God through prayers because of social medias. I used to spend much time visiting my facebook account or watching at youtube or listening to worldly emotional songs . And now that i watched this video, it awaken my soul to feed my spirit and to not let my flesh overtake my spirit. And now I know why i felt like this because satan can not defeat me so he is giving me distractions. I'm always being like this again and again but still whatever happens , God will remain God to my life and the fact that Jesus already saved us then satan has no right and power over us .
Just saying there's a difference between being lazy and being tired. From this video I just understood that he was very tired. It could've been because maybe he was up all night. Being lazy is when you know you have to do something like clean the house/take routine showers/eat healthy foods (not just package junk food) etc.

I need prayer for this.my whole life I struggled with this, punishment at school didn't help, lost jobs and friends. I dont want to b alive too painful - sleep blocks out pain. I try bt keep failing. Yes as proverb says i am poor :,-( wish a man would marry me b faithful loyal to me age 47. I love Jesus. Dont want hurt him. Facing each day so hard no one loves me.
