I think this is so special. I have listened to many violists who’ve recorded themselves playing this piece. Many great players who have mastered this piece, but you were the first that actually connected emotion to the piece, for me at least. This piece has never made me cry. Your performance made me tear up. It was so beautiful and relatable. Thank you 🙏!
This performance hits everything for me: tremendous intrigue and power, technical achievement, purposeful rhythm, and gorgeous emotional phrasing. The finest Walton first movement I’ve had the privilege to listen to!
I must have 10,000 versions of this. My favourite is Yehudi Menuhin with Walton Conducting. (This is on LP. The CD transcription is poor.) My favourite digital is Nils Monkemeyer.
Great performance form both you and the pianist. I would have preferred this a little bit slower but great playing and you are extremely talented. Thumbs up from me.
I'm 4 years older, have twice bigger hands and honestly have some difficulties with this piece so that realy impresses me. But I can't say there is much music in her playing.
Bela interpretação, compatível coma idade talvez, no ponto de vista musical claro, MAS está tudo aí e está lindo, sofro ja fazem alguns anos com esse concerto! rsrsrs
The best musicians dont need to swing around all over the place make weird faces every time they play a note or change positions to show "expression" expressions should be shown through the music itself.
Thats a little contradictory... Her emotions should speak through her music. We should never judge ones musical communication of emotions by their physical appearances or facial movements. Those dont help performers accomplish the message of their music at all. Its actually really difficult for performers to keep our faces neutral while playing to not distract from the beauty of the music.
Are you listening, or watching...music is about what is sounds like, and there is a high level of expressivity in her playing, especially her vibrato and how she phrases. She has a great sound, and the style is spot on for this piece.

3:20 - 3:41 is my favorite part of this movement it's sooo good 😭❤
Really, really fantastic.
Lovely sound, and very impressive ability to get up to the higher registers with what seem to be relatively small hands for a violist!
Very excellent work. YOu should be proud.
impressive!!!!!!

And some do in order to be able to properly show expression in the music.
Tecnicamente perfeito, mas senti falta de emoção. Algo além de tocar certo, no ritmo, afinado...
Verdade, ela se expressou pouco... Mas acho que o som mesmo assim permanece magnífico
totally disagree....
Eu discordo totalmente. Há muita profundidade e emoção no som.
she has no emotions, but i love her playing
