Thanks! I mostly play my monk atm for my raid team, but as heals. In terms of my favorite tank from pure preference would have to be DK right now. Just, because its fun to compete with the healer on the healing done chart :P
You forgot to mention celestial brew on monk, you get purified chi stacks from clearing big staggers and then you can spend it on a big celestial brew shield. Purifying also heals you for a percentage of the purified damage with a talent. And monk cannot heal himself independently as much as a dk, but through the celestial fortune passive it enhances heals received from the outside, which also counts towards monks selfhealing. So healing spheres, purifying brew heals, celestial brew shield size and elixir of determination (shield you get on low hp every 15 sec, depends on size of recently purified damag) all scale with incoming damage, the more damage monk receives the more he can heal himself. In the end I would say monk is actually quite a bit of a selfheal specc, at least 4-5, although mitigation off white hits through dodge is a big part too
Yeah I was debating talking about celestial brew or not but, I figured that would be too advanced to go into for a simplistic view of the class for someone just starting out. For example, I didn't even mention frailty stacks on demon hunter, which I consider to be fairly integral to how they reduce their incoming damage. However, most people don't even know about them cause its more of a passive benefit of just hitting the mobs with your abilities. But, thank you for letting others know that end up watching the video if they wanted to know more about monk!
I loved how you reminded to look at your healer's mana! usually, tanks don't know what healers do and they think dps are just npcs following them...
I know when I first started tanking in wow I would forget all the time there were people with me so :P
Great video, I play all tank classes except Bear really. My top 3 are Pally, Warrior and Monk.

I think you did a pretty solid job laying out the tanks, how they play, and the very top down of tanks and their role. 👍
