Her Türk savaşırken ölmek ister. Finlilerinde cesur savaşçılar olduğunu biliyorum. Teşekkürler.

In this story, the soldiers at the military post knew that they would be supervised by their commander. But the commander not only came the night before, he caught the soldier on duty while he was sleeping. Together with a few soldiers with him, he captured the entire outpost together with his commanders without firing a single shot. That's why he was angry.

This scene is actually a scene from real life. In fact, it is also related to Finland. There was a disagreement between Türkiye and Finland regarding the PKK terrorist organization. PKK has carried out hundreds of terrorist acts in the mountains and cities of Turkey for 40 years. Most of his actions in the mountains were outpost raids. They would raid the outposts mostly at night and kill our soldiers. The biggest reason for this was that some of the soldiers who were on guard at night were sleeping.
Here in this video, the soldier who was sleeping in one of those outposts got scolded from her commander.

Hello there! Thank you for reacting this. This scene based on a real story. This movie represent the year 1993. That's the year which Turkey dealt with the terrorist group called PKK. They are always prepared for ambushes because their numbers were small compared to our soldiers. So one day when the guards supposed to be in their watch guard for one of the stations which sided by a cliff, they fall asleep. And because they did all of the other commrades died. This scene is a re-creation of that. Also when the commander faces directly for the camera and shouts "If you sleep everyone dies" is for the everyone watching this movie because at the time even common folk was fighting with the PKK on their own. So it was a massage to all of the people. Again thank you so much for reacting this. I'm happy to see other culture's reactions ❤ Hope you have a good day/noon/night ^^

I recommend you to watch this whole movie. There's a reason why he's so angry in this scene. They crossed a road to get to this station quickly and his best friend was martyred there. When he arrived at the military station, he caught the guard asleep. He saw that the soldiers he had come to support were sleeping and thought that his friend had been martyred for nothing. Also, this movie is a true story with some parts changed. The commander who made this speech in real life is still alive, his name is Mete Yarar. But the whole movie isn't his story, it's just this scene.

Frinds, let me share a little information about Finnish people, if you think that being Turkish is based on ethnicity, I suggest you to study the ethnic history and language of the Finnish people. Just like Koreans and Japanese speak a language that comes from a common ancestor with us, Finns speak a language that comes from this common ancestor. Of course, as with any nation, there has been westernization and some assimilation and some cultural integration. There is also the fact that there are tens of thousands of years of isolation, but the blood and ancestry of a nation always plays a very big role for that nation, the blood you embrace is always much more valuable than the blood you have. Remember that it is not skullclassism or what percentage of our DNA is Turkish DNA that makes us Turks. Even if we only carry 1% Turkish blood as individuals, it is the heritage we embrace/care for rather than the blood we have that makes us who we are.
Finns are an exceptionally honorable people, stuck amongst peoples where attrocities are commited towards innocents, and they are exceptionally tough and strong, surviving between a rock and a dark place for ages alone proves this fact.
    Salutations to you Janne!

Clashes continued from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. Half of our police station was destroyed by mortars. 2 of our soldiers were martyred. 6 of the terrorists were killed with air support. "Heroes who shed their blood and lost their lives! You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours. You, the mothers, who sent their sons from far away countries wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well." ~ Mustafa Kemal Ataturk

I am 47 years old. My mother had died, and 30 days later I voluntarily went to the military. (My father wanted me to. He must have thought I would come back before he died.) My father had cancer. He died while I was in the war on terror. I returned from the military and my friend who introduced me to my wife died in a traffic accident at the age of 24. My father-in-law died. It all happened within 18 months. While I was living by the sea, suddenly I was in the mountains. Yes, some of my friends were also martyred. When we first went, bombs were exploding everywhere... The commander said this. You are dead now, you have no mother, no father, no siblings anymore. You don't have a spouse and children...If they surpass you, it will never happen. You will not allow terrorists to land in the cities. You are dead, write your wills. There was a 26-year-old lieutenant. Allied guards shot him at night. They said it was an accident. That week we killed 5 terrorist snipers. 1 terrorist was from that region. Sometimes the soldier would sleep, the terrorist would cut his throat, sometimes he would leave his position and be hurled at him. Sometimes recruits would shoot their friends. Sometimes there would be suicides. On Mother's Day, lightning would strike and kill the soldier. Sometimes a mine...Civilians, on the other hand, did not think of us, the martyrs and veterans. This pain is for me. We were the butcher Mehmet's son Ahmet, teacher Ceyhun, we were the people. We didn't have a title, we were just Turks, but they forgot us. Someone's father, someone's brother, someone's son. Someone's husband. The ruling party wanted to make peace with the terrorists and let the murderers into the cities. He set a trap for the army. Those who were with us were killed or had a hard time. Scorpio always stings. Terrorists broke the agreement... Now the Government and some opposition are trying to leave innocent Kurds to the terrorist organization again... So why did we die while we were alive? Why did our brothers, our peers and our brothers become martyrs? Why do they raise the crippled veteran? Why did our people forget us and sacrificed us to politics? We once lived in the same neighborhood, our mothers used to give us bread and tomato paste. Weren't OUR lives as important as your parties or the bread you eat or the water you drink?
It's futile, even if you are my enemy, even if you don't care about the soldiers, even if we are a handful of Turks left, we will shout. Every Turkish person borns as soldiers. If you can't finish us. We have always existed in the ancient world, we will always exist. VICTORY will be ours. Long live victory! How happy is the one who says I am a Turk

Orduya tuzak kurdu. Bizim yanımzda olanlar öldürüldü yada zor günler yaşadı. Akrep her zaman sokar. Teröristler anlaşmayı bozdu...Şimdi İktidar ve bazı muhlalefet masum Kürtleri yeniden terör örgütüne bırakmaya çalıyor...Peki biz neden yaşarken öldük? abilerimiz akranlarımız kardeşlerimiz neden şehit düştü. Neden kötürüm gazi kaldırlar. Halkımız neden bizi unuttu ve siyasete kurban ettiler. Biz bir zamanlar aynı mahallerlerde yaşamıştık, annlerimiz bizlere salçalı ekmekler verirdi. BİZLERİN hayatları, partileriniz kadar yada yediğiniz ekmek, içitiğiniz su kadar önemli değilmiydi?
Nafile, bana düşman olsanızda askerleri umursamasanızda, bir avuç Türk kalsakta, haykıracağız. Her Türk asker doğar. Bizleri bitiremezseniz.

Nefes'i sinemada izlediğimde çatışma sahnesi birden başladı ve gözlerimi kırpmadan kıpırdayamadan izledim sonuna kadar.
