Why are we glorifying unhealthy lifestyle, obesity or overweight isn’t a “way of living” or “body positivity”, it’s an invitation to an unhealthy lifestyle. There are reasons where obesity could be genetic or due to illness but that’s 1-2%, rest is diet & lack of exercise. Stop promoting obesity in the name of body positivity.
No one's promoting anything, people who are over weight or obesity are trying there best to fit in healthy lifestyle. Few of the people i know are so tired of the fact that even though they workout, eat less yet can't loose weight. It's a good thing seeing people coming up with such brand idea.
@@bhoomisingh110 when you promote a thought that being overweight is not being obese but plus size, and introduce brands which promote the so called concept of body positivity and body inclusivity, you normalise being overweight. For some it’s harder than other to lose weight & fat, but I’ve seen story of people above 400 Kg with medical issue going under 80KG, so few KGs is nothing. Rebecca Wilson is the best example of what means to work on yourself, Jonah Hill and Jack Black as well. Being healthy isn’t a trend, it’s a lifestyle.

Fat tax is a myth. If an outfit requires extra fabric, materials, resources and human efforts & time then it would obviously cost more. "Humare yahan koi discrimination nahi hoti hai", a disguised way to tell that your products are expensive and basically slim or thin women are gonna pay the price for the marginal loss borne by the company on selling large sized outfits.
If that's what you call as a tax to fat people then their weight and size should also be considered the same for public transport.
Not true, when products are being made in bulk the cost for a lil extra fabric is negligible. Besides if in case it does cost a lil extra, which is true only for designer brands not fast fashion btw, brands can keep the mrp of all goods such that the extra costs from plus sized people get covered.
That is to say,
If they charge 500 for a product and 600 for the plus sized one
They can keep the mrp to 510-520rs to cover it up
The point is to not make people feel bad about themselves
