I did mumbai kamshet mumbai. 200 brm dnf at kalamboli while returning. My issues were 1. I could not maintain proper hydration and nutritions during ride 2. Cross wind during khopoli to panvel. 3. Gloves and shorts were basic causing sever lower back and hand numbs. Any tips on how to properly eat n drink. How to tackle cross winds efficiently and suggestions for good shorts and gloves.
Thank you for sharing your experience. For eating and drinking during the ride avoid oily food, sugarcane juice in the heat(daytime) as it increases body heat. peanut butter butter sandwiches About 50-100 gm dry fruits dates, chikki or energy bars l, thepla, dhokla, etc. I eat all of this during the ride. Baki on the route if you feel eat 2-3 bananas or limbu paani, coconut water And breakfast and lunch toh hai hi. I know after some time it becomes difficult to keep eating solid food, but I guess it comes with practice to keep eating some carbs every hour. Liquid food has helped a lot during such times like juices, icecreams,. But ya in less quantity. Tackling crosswinds comes with practice, riding in groups drafting behind strong riders helps. And finally shorts are subjective but gel padded shorts have helped me a lot. I use decathlon ka gel padded shorts
Bro tomorrow 3 dec i have ride of 200km and 13 years old it my frist time dowing a brm ride can you tell me something that i can you while riding by the way same route
I am late to reply 😅. But In short, I would say, just ride at a comfortable pace, and don't exhaust yourself too early. Be safe, keep eating and drinking regularly. Also, I was part of BRM 400 yesterday itself. We could have met
Well done bro🎉🎉🎉n congratulations 🎉🎉

Which bike you were using ? And how much time it took you to complete the BRM? I am hoping to do 200BRM from Navi Mumbai on 19th this month
I was using Polygon Strattos S2 Bike and took approx 12 hrs to complete the BRM. All the best for your BRM 200. Enjoy:)
