Mid Norfolk Railway. Wymondham Abbey to Dereham by DMU.

This Video shows parts of a journey that I made on my Birthday in September,2010.I visited the Mid Norfolk Railway for the first time and undertook a return trip from Dereham to Wymondham Abbey and then back to Dereham.I also walked into Wymondham before returning to Dereham and enjoyed the visit both to the Town and the Railway,on a lovely late Summer's Day.I will certainly be visiting again in the future. Only the DMU was operating on the day. I apologise for some shaky Video work,which was partly due to some stretches of uneven track,but was exacerbated by the fact that I left my tripod at home!

Well Hugh , I had a ride on that DMU during the first year of MNR opening.. Memories ahhh. Thay have some good Gala's now . Thanks for sharing your video

Just came across this by accident today. A great video of an East Anglian heritage railway that is growing so fast it is surprising some of its contemporaries. Just wish there was more steam.......
