This is definetly a better theme than his WWF one. Actually his WCW themes just kept getting better each time he changed them! I recall he had at least three.

you can be forgiven when he was with Hogan and Warrior and you failed to realize how big he actually was and with the short hair, he was an intimidating guy and talented... in WWF, he was up against the top guys, but played as a fool, though his character and tights were always amazing ( especially feuding with Jake the Snake over wife/sister? don't remember which)... in WCW he was brought in as a mystery as a bad a55 and the early 90s Dangerous Alliance was an amazing group, he went up against Sting and Steamboat and was pushed as a star and a threat... i so wish his time didn't coincided with Flair leaving and coming back and not being able to wrestle, i would have loved to see a match (i don't ever remember one)

He faced Ric Flair at Fall Brawl 1993, and won the WCW Big Gold belt.

Rude beat Flair for the WCW World International Heavyweight title (the big gold belt that had formerly been the NWA world title & later became the sole WCW world title after the unification match between Flair & Sting). Rude was awesome & allowed to shine in WCW having been a 3 time world champion. He beat Flair in Fall Brawl 93, then wrestled Flair again at Halloween Havoc 93 and lost the title on 3/16/94 (if my memory is correct) against Hiroshi Hase in Japan only to win it back 3 days later on 3/19/94 while still in Japan. He then lost his 2nd title to Sting at Spring Stampede 94 and won it back from Sting in the May 94 match in Fukuoka Japan. That match of course ended up being Rude's final match & forced him to retire since his back had already been injured in 1993 and he took a nasty fall that injured it to the point where he was in danger of being paralyzed if he continued. Though as we all know, he was training for a comeback shortly before his death in 1998-1999 and did perform a Rude Awakening on Sting (I believe it was him). It's a shame Rick wasn't able to take off in 1993 to get his back recovered properly but you could see if he did, he would've missed out on being champion. It really sucks. But I'm glad he at least had a chance in pre-Hogan WCW to shine like a champ. And it's a good thing they had 2 titles or else he would've been screwed there too. The biggest mistake was unifying the belts, especially just before Hogan debuted with the title hog he is. Flair too was a title hog in many ways but not as much as Hogan.

I'd guess more people know Rude from his early WWF run, and/or his brief run with DX in the late 90's. But I would argue his best work overall was 1992-1993 and in that time, he may well have been the best heel WCW had and one of the top 3 or 4 in the entire business.

They gave a modified sped up version of this to Sensational Sherri and then later Eddie Guerrero (Chavo Jr. and Hector used it too, IIRC.)

It's not the same song. This is Big Brother. The one used by Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero and others is entitled "Bad Man" (which shouldn't be confused with the song of the same name created by Jim Johnston in the WWF/E as Rikishi's heel theme after "doing it for The Rock"). Both production songs (Big Brother and Bad Man) are from the BMG Music Library.

WCW had a habit of using very basic stock music in the early-90s and WWE refuses to pay rights for a lot of it

I hated that WCW scrapped this theme (Yes, I know the 'Black Cat ' rip-off story), but it went perfect with his male stripper gimmick and you are absolutely right in saying this was a 1000 times better than his WWF theme.

His next theme in WCW was SO MUCH BETTER than this one. Its the best of them all. Only one better is when he used to come out to "Smooth Operator" by Sade.
