She’s cool as. So nice to hear her speak on her own merits, not in someone’s shadow 💛

What an incredible interview 👏 It felt like just watching two people having a regular conversation so relaxed & open. Chelsea is a strong, amazing person doing such great work for her people! I cried when they discussed past trauma. All my life, I've locked so much of that up & it hurts to revisit it. It is both painful & helpful to hear others discussing similar trauma. Her willingness to talk about it to heal & help others really shows her immense strength. She is an inspiration! ❤

Anikia, I have ADHD (and 3 classmates) doing Takiura. It is our superpower - its designed for us who (a) don't give a crap about being laughed at (2) give well timed jokes (3) are communicative and oral processors! 3 weeks in and loving it, already being changed. E hoa, this is your sign! Nau mai haere mai a tera tau - just ring up and I am sure they will guarantee your slot next year :)

I have just found this amazing woman. Personally I've been through absolute hell and I can relate to some of your story. Had a penny drop moment. Several. ❤ I'm going into acting at 39. Leaving my partner too and going through the shit. Big time! I'd love to meet you.

I hear your mamae but more so you're awakening and your reset, thank you for your honesty and sincerity. He kòrero rangatira tènei. Healing is potent and I think that's what's so deeply incredible about where you're at now, the clarity. I hope that all survivors can reach healing from trauma, yup trauma and mamae are not currency and not the only value wàhine hold.... Cher the kohanga babies ❤

Kia or Chelsea, may I say you are far more interesting than your ex. Thank you for all you are doing to raise Te Reo. Films are universal. I agree, our new coalition government can try and wind the clock back but many of us are not going to cooperate! 🐑🐑🇳🇿🇳🇿NZ

As another CSA survivor “you’re just upgrading your abuse” hit home. And as an American trying to work towards indigenous rights and cultural revitalization, her work is so beautiful and energizing. Makes me mad that she has ever had to live in someone else’s shadow. Masi (thank you in Chinook Wawa) from Chinook territory :)
