- Here's one I definitely look forward to every year! In this one I'll go over all the changes for the 2017 Mustang GT along with of course the test drive, some awesome revs, exterior, interior, engine bay & more!

I drove a 2015 when it 1st came out. I had not driven a GT sense 1989. WOW, 435 hp was crazy.
Coming from a chevy guy. Ford did a damn good job on this design.
My dream car shifted from Chevrolet Camaro SS to Ford Mustang GT.

as someone who has a previous gen mustang I wasn't a big fan of this body style, though it's starting to grow on me
Same, also honestly I wasn't a big fan of 2014 either but now that's my favorite body style still not a big fan of the back of the 2014
I don't have a previous Mustang, but I do agree, I think that body style is the best.
Man these are my favorites since the 64 1/2-68s.
+Sam Spina At first I didn't like it, but it's starting to grow on me. I think Ford went to make a true blood sports car vs the previous half hearted muscle car. This one does look mean, but the 2009 anniversary edition is still my favorite.

Never liked mustangs. But when they made this body, I had a new favorite car. I think it’s beautiful. Good job Ford, I will be a buyer soon.

Currently have a V6 2015 Black Mustang, let me start of by saying it is a really fun car to drive, even for a V6. Definitely plan on switching it for GT. As for the color, Black does show way more swirls and dust/dirt much more than any other color but if you know how to maintain it right, its well worth it. Highly recommend getting it detail twice a year to keep it in great condition.

Force Actually I make good money so I'm gonna pay the whole car off in cash. And I'm a truck driver and never had an accident or citation so I will have a pretty good insurance rate.
The 2015 Mustang GT Premium is the first car I ever bought! Obviously I was given a Honda on my 18th birthday, lol.
Nothing wrong with a Mustang being your first car. However, there are a few caveats to buying. I have been around cars all my life. Working on carburetors to Suspension to racing.
There is nothing wrong with buying a mustang as a first car, provided you are prepared for it. As in, say you are going from a 2002 Honda Civic with a respectable 130 hp. Front wheel drive. Then you go to a 2017 Mustang with 435 Hp rear wheel drive and you have no quite got that horsepower under control? It can be both a thrill and a scary experience.
So, if you really want a Mustang. Find a dealership with a driving track where you can open it up and see if you can handle it, or rent one before you buy one and check to see if you are prepared for the power. I wanted a 1985 Camaro Z/28 it only had 157 HP. Was fast for its time and manageable. Then my next Camaro was a 2002 Camaro SS with 335 hp...Was not quite ready for the power increase and went sideways a few times before I got used to it.
So, test drive first before you buy.

Awesome video and review! Really makes me want one, but I don't know if I can give up the height in my F-150 since I hate being so close to the ground, but damn that Mustang is so amazing!

OH that's easy ..... let me go through the list real quick.1.)Quickest to obtain and see swirls.2.) If you're OCD about keeping your car clean it will be dirty again in hours. 3.) Doesn't bring out black accent pieces well at all.
That pretty much sum it up. I don't know about others but the first black car I owned I told myself "II'll never own a black car again" and yes, I'm OCD.
This is all true, but when you have em clean they look sharp as fuck!
Black and white and grey are so boring, such common mustang colors, and technically black and white are not colors

awesome car! I was hoping they would make it louder than the previous year. It's rather quiet. I'm a camaro guy and still prefer the new camaro to this. The GT350 is still the best mustang to get though! It just sounds amazing. Awesome review.

Looked at a '17 GT with NO trunk lamp. My '05 GT has a trunk lamp - very useful. I'm reminded of my '88 Ranger XLT with NO under hood lamp. Standard on the '87 Ranger XLT but the parts were still available, including the underhood plug and the drill hole on the hood. All I had to do was remove the small piece of insulation where the lamp would mount.
They won't change the look until the next generation, expect to see little change for the next couple of years.
Agreed. When I got my '10 GT, they didn't change the look for at least 5 years. 2015 was the new model of this mustang, so give it at least till 2020 for them to change how the mustang looks.

+IMxYOURxDADDY: I understand that they changed small details from 12-13. But I wasn't thinking just about smoked tail lights and a deck lid panel. I was thinking more of major body changes like from 09-10 or 14-15.

I take delivery of The Back GT Premium with paddle shift auto and silver stripes and Black Rims and Brembo's in March 2017 cant wait, There's a huge wait for them here in Australia

I have a 97' GT drop top i've had since HS (6 years now) she's murdered out riding on 18 inch AMR's
145k OG miles. I'm about to trade her in for something a little newer, the 2019 is a little out of my price range so the 2017 is what I'm after and this video just convinced me.
I love those wheels...I wonder if they'd fit on my old school 5.0

Got my 2016 GT at the end of February ... and love it, Love It, LOVE IT! The hood-mounted turn signals are a bit weird, because from the driver's seat, you can only see the left one unless you have the seat WAY up. No biggie, though. The premium stereo is worth it when you're not listening to that delicious exhaust note, and for the most part, the Sync 3 system works quite well.
And the car just goes like it was shot from a cannon! VERY happy with my 'Stang!

I spent a touch over 40 large for it. Didn't get the Performance Package, but even without it, the car goes, stops, and turns VERY well indeed. I honestly look for excuses to take it out, just to DRIVE ... and it is a pure JOY to drive!
I felt the same way till I got my C7. Never looked back
How is it? I had a c6..... the roads just didn't treat that car gently where I lived at all.. Massive speed bumps and potholes constantly tearing and break front body pieces got old.
Troubleshooter125 have a 2016 triple yellow GT performance package with Recaros (yellow jacket premium interior trim with 401A. Love it!!!

Nice review. I just bought mine today. I got shadow black premium with GT performance package and 401a trim, enhanced security pack, reverse sensing system, voice activated nav. Basically everything except for recaro seats, they are way too tight for me, and you cant get them air conditioned or heated. I really really want that. First thing I am doing is buying springs and camber plates , the car HAS to be lowered right away. Then in the spring I am going Roush axle backs with Ford racing resonator delete xpipe. I should get it by next Friday so pumped.

If you don't get the voice activated Nav, do you still get navigation? I was under the impression that the voice activated Nav was like a voice command thing. Is that not true? I'm ordering a 17 California Special in a month and want to make sure I get everything right.
Hmmm, I'm not 100% sure to be honest. If I had to guess I would say that the NAV just comes with voice activation. I don't think there is a touchscreen nav without voice commands. But like I said, I'm not 100% sure. My bill of sale says Voice activated Navigation, $800 (Canada)
a week after i got my 2016 GT premium convertible, i went and lowered it with Eibachs after salpping some 2016 Saleen wheels. the drop is perfect. low enough to look good, but plenty of clearance. Got rid of the stock exhaust and running Roush axle backs and replaced the resonator with an H pipe...........loud as hell and sounds great. my neighbors hate me.......

good job. the exhaust (in person) on the stang is the most quiet of the muscle cars. If anyone plans on purchasing they should have a set of mufflers handy :) Other than that I love mine.
I have one in grabber blue but having second thoughts about the color gonna try and trade it in for a black one like this, this color is just sexy and intimidating at the same time!

They're CRAZY cheap in the States. Up here in Canada they're slightly more expensive, partly due to the weaker currency, but I'm still glad they're not as bad as European or Australian prices.

The guage cluster is different? i see 2 air vents and 2 gauges between them, while the 16 has only 3 vents. My 2016 GT premium doesn't have that cluster....

I own a 2015 GT Premium PP. I absolutely love this car! I owned a 2010 GT Premium before trading up for this one and I can tell you that Ford has improved their quality of the Mustang 1000%. There are a few minor details I wish Ford would improve on i.e hood prop, ugly massive coolant reservoir tank, brighter true white LED gills on the headlights...Also, the stock exhaust system is super quite!! Although for most people that's usually the first thing to get upgraded/modified anyways so no big deal!! Id also like Ford to consider maybe a brushed aluminum truck deck lid...The current piano black finish deck lid is a huge dirt magnet!!!! All in all thought the GT is an amazing car!!!

What is up with the upper grille in the bumper? Some of the honeycomb appear to not have a pass throw for air flow like what Ford did with the 13-14 Focus ST

There’s plenty of them at just about every Carmax in California. Everyone is jumping into the Gen 3 Coyotes.

Boy can't wait for the 2019's. Hated this and the 99-04 Mustang models, Too sporty looking for a muscle car. However, 2015-17 models have one hell of a nice sounding V8 with the right exhaust, I'll give em that.

Gorgeous car. My only small gripe is 19 inch rims. Correct me if im wrong but aren't 19' inch tires very expensive to replace as its a low volume tire? They should have gone with 20's imho
