Yep time for even grumpy doubters like me to rally around him and give him a chance to impress with results this new season. He may not have been my choice, but he is what we have got and listening to him, he feels authentic and he is trying his best. Let's see how it goes. Maybe if we all give him a chance, he will surprise us in a good way. Being real though he must register some kind of result or results against Celtic this season and there must be progress that fans can see. Most will back that if it looks like we are heading somewhere. So let's see what Clement can do. C'mon the Gers. 🇬🇧
Unless a miracle happens and other clubs actually want our over paid flops then its going to take at least another 4 transfer windows for Clement to build a squad he wants and needs BUT I don't think the fans will give him that time and unfortunately we will be talking about another new manager this time next summer all the while Celtic get stronger every single year
Spot on! Every time we sack a manager, it makes us weaker and sets us back a year. A new manager will want his own players, which costs more money that we don't have and so on and so on.
Stevie is relaxed about the current selling and buying situation…… I and 99.9% of the fans are not, 9 players need to be shipped out , we all know that won’t happen until the final couple of days,that leaves us hoping the potential players we are buying are still available and we can furnish these contracts quickly. But then,how do you gel them into the squad in a couple of days before the start of the euro big money games, not to mention how fit they will be, it has the hallmark’s os complete catastrophe.
Yep a total nonsense comment from him. Our first game is in 2 and a half weeks and our 2 right wing choices are mccausland and wright, our left cb options are ben davies and leon balogun. Arguably our most sellable asset is sam lammers after the last 4/5 months he had and no one will take him because of his wage.
@@dcdel1 it’s harder to ship out some of our not so good players that’s why it’s taking longer does clement want the players he needs now yes but he knows we have to get rid of the bad wood first so that’s why it’s taking so long
With the league season and CL qualifiers on the horizon, god know why we can be relaxed about signings!

Steady progress is they key.1 or 2 bits of quality a window should be the key and promoting some youths where possible, or adding 1 project if we can. Celtic generally pay way less to players than we do, we have to wise up. They are sitting top woth a cushion of cash and they pay less. The board need to wise up on that side. Otherwise we end up with guys that are really tough to move on if it doesn't work. We need to be shrewd.
I haven't been massively impressed thus far on the field under Clement. Especially not being able to beat Celtic yet. That said the guy needs breathing room and a fair chance by fans. If he can put one in Celtics eye and get a win and at least give them something to think about and fans here something to buy into this season and we can see some progress building in the team, I will back that. Lets just see how it goes. At least the manager is being up front with fans. He also seems calm under presssure. This new season is Phils chance to win me as a doubter over. I will at least give him that. Any manager deserves a fair chance.
We need to realise that with last year's window. The gaffer got alot of work to do . To make up for that . With the stadium stuff that more money out the door . A think we are a few years behind now .
The narratives all doom and gloom which makes me grumpy AF. Winning can change that narrative quickly. Let's wait and see how the window pans out when it shuts and how results go under the new man. If it is guff and we don't beat Celtic and have lots of failure then we will get tore in. Right now though we need to give the manager some breathing room and just see what happens.

At the time they were given definitely Goldson, Kent was hot and cold as per and Morelos was only good when he felt like it

Goldson, kent and morelos didnt deserve new contracts, all 3 are crap and not rangers standard. Morelos cant even do it in the 2nd teir of brazil, kents been relegated to the reserves in turkey and goldson got the luckiest contract in the history of football. All 3 are garbage, all 3 should be nowhere near rangers

@yogaflame7884 Morelos and Kent on loans to prove themsleves under Clement may not be the worst idea. They know the club, could settle fast and maybe they have learned the grass isn't always greener. If they came back with good attitudes and willing to work hard under Clement the. They could be an asset.
Cannot get my head round why questions aren’t being asked about the finances. Our dealings (so far) have been abysmal. Scraping pennies together for players. Where has all the money went ? It's shite the way Stevie speaks about Sam Lammers, went well down in my estimations now. Our best goalkeeper in the world costs us two goals against Ajax, nobody says anything.

The only way is for every fan to get right behind PC. We are a shit show of a club at times but we’ve got a diamond of a Manager and he could easily walk away from this mess and many would. We don’t want to lose him. We need to direct our frustrations at the board not PC and the team as his hands are tied due to their previous f U.K. ups. We hopefully will get some guys out the door and get PC’s type of players IN. Ibrox will sort itself out and we’ll be back in no time. Keep the faith lads WATP 🇬🇧
Lammers being papped to the B team is poor management and not how you treat players. Yes we may be trying to sell him but we are also trying to sell other players who are going about pre season as normal

@@Bluebear78 Well he scored some goals in Holland and shown he is capable there, so could be useful to someone on another league with more time on the ball. What I am talking about though is at least have the appearance going that, if he doesn't get sold he has a future. So by that instead of dumping him with the B team making it obvious to outside observers that he isn't wanted, and knocking his value down, just get him training and looking like part of the team. Even though we know he isn't. Also the manager should have taken him with the team on preseason, and tried his best to make him feel included while he is here. That way if we don't get a buyer then he can still contribute for the wage he gets. Instead we are paying a guy £25 grand a week, who won't feel part of things and is left with B team football and other clubs know we don't want him, driving the price down. That should have been the strategy. That's what I meant by that. Laugh if you like but I think my way was smarter than what we are doing.

Cantwell will be here next season. The manager has a preseason to improve his discipline then we have a player on our hands. Lowry and Hagi as understudies, whilst not ideal, will have to suffice until January.
Hagi would be the 10 for me.
We need to get away from this number 10 nonsense. That position is reserved for special players. We can't afford any special players such as De Bruyne, Bellingham etc. Play a midfield 3 like what we done under Gerrard.

I am done supporting the nonsense around this club. With Tav, Goldson and others clearly going nowhere I am out. I don't blame the manager, I blame the board. I am boycotting everyrhing to do with the club until the day this board is removed and these awful players like Tav, Goldson, Cantwell, Dowell, Matondo, Lawrence, Davies, Souttar, Lammers and Dessers. It is pish. It is stressful and it is not fun anymore. So I am boycotting the lot including coming here to chat about Rangers and watching and supporting until the day this all changes. I am out.
