Thank you for sharing this recording, it is fascinating to hear her voice and the way she described the sinking. Amazing that a woman who survived two sinkings never learned to swim. Also loved that she said her favourite country to visit was Japan!
Thank you for uploading this!! This is insane. I never ever thought I’d get to hear Violet Jessop’s voice! Love hearing her laughing and cracking some jokes despite the subject matter. Thank you again, I’m so grateful to get to hear this 🙏 unbelievable to hear this 🙏
Wonderful! Thank you. Violet is one of those featured in the new card game "Survive the Titanic! The Card Game" because her story is amazing. Thank you for allowing us to get a glimpse into her life and story.
This truly is remarkable, though, to hear her voice and hear her story in her own words. I’m obsessed with this woman’s courage and resilience. One sinking, I’d never work on a ship again. But three?
7:10 "... This is the Britannic" Imagine you had to clarify which sinking ship you were talking about because you've been on so many, LOL I laughed at first but then I felt sad, poor old lady! She should have married that kind old millionaire in the New York hospital room when she was just 20 odd years old, (he wouldn't last long anyway) then she would have inherited his money and enjoyed 60 years of care free rich life! Getting hung up on Ned was her biggest mistake, after she went around the world to see him without getting a proposal, it couldn't be more clear that it was a waste of time to begin with. Plenty of fish in the ocean, she of anyone on this planet would know best, since she's been around all of them, hundreds of times!
I cannot believe this has been unearthed. This woman survived the accidents of all three Olympic class ships. This is unbelievable. Thank you.

At 3:01 I think she says "my pat of butter" since she's making toast

Hay una terrible historia como para una terrible película 🎥 👌
She wanted to keep talking, should not have ended for lunch! :)
