Would really love a TFD episode with a subject matter expert on life insurance, focusing on the differences and best uses of whole versus term life insurance. What are the various financial/life situations that would make each type of life insurance beneficial to a person? What 'fine print' should one look out for in shopping for a policy? Are there recommendations for best policy providers? I know that TFD would turn out a great episode on this subject!

TFD did a video “Do This not That” with this topic in it. Although not a specific deep dive, it does cover some of the basics. If the link doesn’t work, search “Insurance” under the TFD search bar. 😘

    Hi TFD,
The hoops it felt I had to go through to get to the link to be able to sign up for budgeting with an unpredictable income was a bit much.
I work multiple part time jobs some of which are done based on the season, when people are visiting and vacationing in my area and depending on the month my income can vary widely and the workshop for budgeting with an unpredictable income would help me greatly.
Technically I am not freelance. So I don't qualify to sign up for Noumena.
It's more than just the people that qualify for Noumena that could really use this workshop.

I can't wait for Rachel Hollis episode. I read her "girl, wash your face" book and was dumbfounded when it turned out to be her bragging about her life instead of giving habit forming tips, which is what i thought it'd he about based on what others said, and the title. It was so strange and self centered and didn't have any practical tips that I could relate to my own life. I'm not surprised she had a scandal and I want to hear that tea ☕

I totally get the payday loan one. CoVid tanked my life. We were finally able to move but just after got CoVid ourselves & couldn’t work after all PTO went to moving & got it during hurricane Ian. We had to use multiple payday loan apps just to survive now I’m caught in a cycle where I’ll be paying them off but having to then use them to even have money. It’s gonna take time to dig myself out. But starving on a street with CoVid in a flood city wasn’t an option either. And our emergency fund only went so far when we’d just had to recently dip into for a move. I feel like a failure. I feel trapped. I feel like in most spaces I can’t speak out about it.

But there ppl who will never see it. My mom passed last year still deeply in her cult beliefs. She’d hit many a rock bottom. Not everyone will come out & you have to find a way to live at peace with that in if it means being less involved or setting boundaries even if you know boundaries will make them angry & cause them to cut you off.
