this video explained:
the “green” was actually purple. their name or color hadn’t actually loaded in, its a common bug. that color is a lighter version of dark green. you can see this color for a split second when someone joins a lobby. it’s the default. so it’s just they haven’t loaded

The scariest game I’ve ever played in among us was when I was doing my tasks, I walked by security and there was a green character standing there when a diff green walked in and I did emergency and said did you see that green guy? They said what do you mean? I said there was someone standing right there then he disappeared... he had no name either... if you see that guy in security, leave the game right away, I then never got to play again. He was a hacker obviously

ight so it's a glitch, yes. You see in the meeting purple has no name? That's because that "green" is purple. Either they glitched out or you did, it happens sometimes and the game fails to show the person's avatar/nickname outside/inside meetings. It's nothinh scary, just a glitch, and a very common one too.
I ve experienced it lots of times in polus. One time i played a match of skeld, there is 128 players but the maximum players is 10. The other match i played is that the map of skeld is flipped but mostly innersloth does that in the month of April. I do not know whats going on and i do not know if somebody cheats. I experienced sire sirol like more than 2 times in lobby while the game didnt start. Love the video, nice edit on the music.

Ok so let me clarify the green:
The green was purple, we didnt see purple in the video, but there was a purple in the voting panel. This rarely happens when the game fails to load the player of the color, they will appear as red in chat/voting panel,he wasnt some hacker or anything, it was just a player.
I get this glitch a lot and it seems to only happen when I am green and it bugs me because I want to be green and this lighter green looks like a bootleg.
It happened with me once, I was playing as blue but I appeared as red in the voting panel without my name and others started freaking out about it and then suddenly the the screen faded to the victory panel with me winning as the Impostor and the other Impostors didn't even appear, only me in the victory panel though I actually was a crewmate

These are common glitches and has explanations
The "0 Impostors Remain" glitch is when the impostor gets voted out and leaves. The leave function minuses the impostor displayed on the screen.
And the "double green with ??? name" glitch, i don't know the exact explanation of this. But the game may not have detected the new player and their data isn't managed in the lobby so it remains like that throughout the game.
In this YT screen the green guy is the purple guy and when they do emergency meeting he using colour purple because the last game he play he used purple but it glitch and the game turn him to green ( idk why)

I'm assuming that glitch only work when someone joined the lobby the same time the game start then the player will be kicked out while the one he saw was an AI.

The green color and "???" was in fact a load glitch. Usually happens when someone tries to join, then their internet (PING) craps out for a split second, then reconnects in time. I've encountered this glitch before, never seemed to record it, but anyways, my character had no name, every time I spoke (chat) it would show no name, every time I voted to either skip or to vote someone, it says: "... voted, 2 remaining" sometimes it wouldn't even let me vote, like the game acts like I'm a ghost, but I'm not dead.
Sometimes there's even a creepier side to this, I experienced the glitch again, but this time, every time I texted or typed something, then my crewmate color would change colors. From Green, to Red, To Orange, To Purple, To Black, To Tan, To Blue, basically through the whole Among Us color system.
Even creepier than that, one night I was playing Among Us (3 am) and something was weird. My screen turned Red, so I decided to close the game, and relaunched it. After that, it said that my data didn't load correctly, so I hard reset my Series X. A few seconds later I was able to get back online and play some Among Us. I thought I fixed the problem, but it made it worse.
I was able to play Among Us just fine, ping was at 5 though, even though my ping is usually 50-100. I went to check my Xbox Ping at it said it was at 666 ping. After that my electricity went out. My dad was at work so I couldn't do anything. I heard three knocks at my bedroom door, I didn't open it since it says that if you open a door with three knocks and no one is there, then it's suppose to mean bad luck or something.
I heard it knock even louder, so I slightly opened my door, and I felt a whoosh of really cold air, (it was 75 degrees outside, AC wasn't on) so I quickly closed my door again. It was 3:13 AM. I heard footsteps, I heard my dad calling my name, but I just got home from work, and my dad was at work, so I decided to sit in my room, in complete darkness. Then behind me, I heard a scream from the woods of my backyard. I didn't look back because I didn't want it to come after me.
After a while, the electricity came back on, so I insisted to play some more Among Us. I successfully loaded into Among Us, but nothing was there. Full lobby, 15/15 people, no one was around. I decided to start the game, and I played successfully. We were able to win due to tasks, but when the "Victory" screen displayed, all the crewmates were red and maroon colored with devilish horns as the hat.
I decided not to pay attention to this, so I started up another round, I was impostor. I killed everyone and was able to grab the win. However, the next session was creepy. I started up a new lobby again, and it turns out that those 14 devilish looking crewmates were back. I left and started a new session, those people kept following me. I decided to close the game and reopened it. The maps were normal (Polus, Airship, Mira HQ, and Skeld) but when I hosted the session, the same people followed me.
I asked: "Why are you following me?" and this Red dude named ZOZO said: "You killed us, you MURDERED us!" I then told them that it was just a game. I thought to myself, maybe it was a salty kid. So I said sorry and ignored it. Next round I was impostor, I couldn't see who I killed because everyone was invisible. It turned out that I killed the same person again (ZOZO dude). I then won the game again. The ZOZO guy said: "You killed us again! Now YOU WILL PAY!!!"
My screen then went Red, and showed a bloody corpse with a pentagram carved in the middle of a person's chest. Out of worriness, I quickly closed Among Us, unplugged my Xbox and let my TV run for the night. At 4:00 AM, I had a serious headache, like someone was squeezing my skull. I rubbed my head and I noticed it had small amount of blood on it. I quickly scurried to my mirror and I had a medium-sized cut near my forehead.
I was able to close the wound up, I quickly cleaned up my blood, and proceeded to get a new pillowcase. I then found out that a piece of dry wall fell on my head. This had never happened before. So, after all of that, I couldn't sleep. I decided to play some Among Us again, and yet again, I hosted 5-10 rounds, and it seemed to work well. I did experience two disconnections (because how crappy Among Us servers are) Around 6 AM, I heard loud knocking at my front door.
I was scared, so I took a peek out of the curtain, and it was my dad. He was off of work early due to an injury. Later that day he had to go to the hospital, because something was choking him. I took him up to the hospital, and the hospital gave him some stuff to help regulate his blood pressure. After a while, he was having chest pains, and so I pulled up Among Us, I was playing it just fine, and this ZOZO person came back and said: "I have cursed your dad, he will die tonight if you don't let me be impostor"
The ZOZO guy got lucky, because he was the impostor. Two crewmates left, so I called an emergency meeting. The ZOZO guy said: "Let me kill you for this win, and I will end your curse" so I replied with: "Ok" and so, I let the ZOZO guy kill me in Among Us. After a while, things started to clear up. My dad was getting better unexpectedly, I then played more Among Us and the ZOZO guy appeared saying: "Thank You Rukario, your curse is now lifted" and after that night, everything seemed normal.
Everything was back the way it was normally. The next day my dad's health improved yet again. I didn't know what that experience was, and I was just GLAD that it was over with.
That's an interesting story.

I sometimes like to scare people experiencing glitches, one time, I was playing a match with randoms, and I got killed by Pink, but the weirdest part of the match was that Yellow could still see me as alive, and could see me waking through walls and doing tasks. He could also see me chat and I think I really scared the crap out of him. To this day I still don’t know why this happened.
Glitches pal glitches I once got stuck in a vent without the ability to chat or get voted out so basically the whole game was me in this vent stuck and act like if I was dead but I can't even sabotage or another time I got dead vision for some reason I could see in lights out or see everywhere without Limits it's very weird and kinda unfair for the rest of the people but this will probably be fixed soon

I’ve had a few glitches:
- Everyone got stuck in the walls
- A crewmate reported a body the moment they got killed, so we had a meeting that was called my a dead crewmate, then their body spawned around the table.
- There was an invisible player who wasn’t a real player. They were invisible and didn’t talk in chat, nor complete any tasks. They were purple and they showed up on vitals and as a player in chat

I saw this guy when i was playing among us when i got bored heres what happend..: So when i was bored i just hadded the idea to play among us its been a while actually its been a year the last time i played among us so i went back to the game but some bad changes happend..First There was this feature where you cant type it the only way to tyle something was this button. I never get used to it but something weird happend the map suddenly became bad the lava was gone floor changed all of a sudden movements were bad and more it was kinda bugging me so i decided to leave. When i was thinking about him i was scared terrified when i might meet him again and might do something to my account. I definitely decided to stop playing among us because it was to scary for me to play it again

Its not a hack, as you might see, that isnt lime, but isnt dark green either, its a bit brighter, that is a placeholder crewmate model, name is set to ??? and color to unused a bit ligher dark green color, it will show your pets and hats if you have them sometimes, if its mini crewmate or a balloon item that is based on your color, it will be red

This happens a lot it's a glitch I've had it happen to me multiple times.
The other green is known as “Fortegreen”, it’s a glitched color that can be obtained by doing some stuff that idk, the purple disappearing is either him leaving or the game didn’t load his character in on your screen, the 0 impostors is also a glitch, i think it happens when one of the impostors leave when they were about to get voted off but idk

Please pin this. Also, Fortegreen is automatically assigned to EVERY player while they're joining the game (along with the name ???) It's just that it automatically changes to your current color once you fully connect to the lobby.

Guys it’s a glitch, it happens when someone hasn’t loaded in properly. Their color will be a green that is in between dark green and lime. And during voting time they will have no name. So the person you were seeing was actually purple.

It always happens so when they join they have this “???” Username and dark green the load properly. Some of them even stay like that user and colour forever in the games

bruh, u people in comments, let me explain:
When a player is connecting to a server, it gives them a ??? name and FORT-GREEN COLOR, not GREEN color, then after they connect they have their skin, color and name back. Bassicaly, what happened is that for some reason on nonName's screen it showed that purple was still connecting, so in game he was fort green color with ??? name but in votings he was purple and had their name, and about the 0 impostors thingy its just a bug, it happened to me before

Same thing happened to me twice.Only I didn't really realize it during gameplay.I saw two blacks(one of them is me) when it shows the victory screen, and two dark greens in the waiting lobby.I have screenshots on my IG
This happened to me when I was the imposter and someone saw me vent but since I was a different color during discussion time so they didn't know it was me and I think the dupe was hacking because I was that color when they joined and wound up the same color. So the dupe was there before the round started

Dark green is basically one if the most mysterious colors ever seen before. Someone is always named "???", its when someone' character doesnt load properly. I call him the "Mystery Man". Even if he's a lighter colored dark green, but still not even lime, they both still look the same, but never seen wearing hats, clothes, or even a pet.
In all games when ??? name come he always come with dark green color but still who choses dark green color he get 2nd color in match becuz no one can choose that color and cant do anythin....its a mysterious thin.

The person named ??? With the different green color is called fortergreen. I've had this kind of person in my among us games a lot, but it was always a glitch and nothing happened and for most of the players its a glitch too. But they could be also a hacker, I've seen a few videos talking about fortergreen being in their game and it gets hacked or something. If you want to know more, you can read the wiki.
The green you saw is called "glitched green" or "ForteGreen" its a color used for players who are connecting or entering a lobby but sometimes a glitch happens where they remain in that state during the game

Actually that's because the imposter left before the text came up, so when the person was voted out that's why it appeared as 0 imposters, it happens a lot
